Not even remotely close to the context. There is not one citation by Christ in the four gospels when He said "this generation" means another generation millennia later. Jesus warning first century believers about things that will happen millennia later is eisegesis, not exegesis.

And yet verse 34 is on line 1.

That’s not to be taken literally. That’s apocalyptic language that’s used all throughout the OT when a nation was under God’s judgment. Compare Isaiah 34:4 with Revelation 6:14. The sky did not literally roll up like a scroll in Isaiah 34:4, neither did it in Revelation 6:14.
