    Calvinism, TULIP, and reverse engineering

Dave, Thanks for posting. I am doing four different things right now, but I would like to go over what you have posted, line by line. Short response is, I like how you are looking things over. I like Weust on somethings, not so much on others, but I like the fact that you are more than willing...

    Calvinism, TULIP, and reverse engineering

Hello Dave, The appeal among believers is simply it is the truth of God. It is not easy to believe, in fact many teachings go against the thoughts and intents of the heart of fallen mankind. This has some merit, but can be abused also. This is a large discussion by itself. Questions about...

    Two Questions

Hello Rob, What you are speaking of in part finds it's answer in what would be known as Covenant Theology. In particular what you have seen described as the Covenant of Redemption. short answer; 1] The triune God Covenanted among themselves to not only create all things, but to wisely rule and...

Christ set forth as a Propitiation

Yes indeed! Most of those who deny it, are outside the camp.

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

The only people you mentioned here was Calvinists, you did not mention Isrrael at all. it was your post #95 The label Calvinism, does not depend on Calvin! Do you understand that? Calvinism is just a label.....for the doctrines of grace.

    Two Questions

9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, Does this help you?

Christ set forth as a Propitiation

Notice how John posts partial verse not even in dispute, the rewords others to try and justify his nonsense. You see this in post 48..he lists things no one is asking about! he then changes the concept that Paul gave us in Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all...

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Thanks for the needed clarification, lol What was in your mind , did not make it to your keyboard, lol The doctrines of grace do not teach anything different on this. Chapter 15. Of Repentance Unto Life and Salvation 1. Such of the elect that are converted at riper years, having sometime lived...

    Two Questions

You did not think that I was speaking of this???8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. really?

Christ set forth as a Propitiation

JF. notice, He calls your teaching philosophy as if that negates the verses you and Martin offered him over and over, and then he offers his philosophy that no one anywhere has suggested as a healthy philosophy, or remotely biblical, lol No, you are actually distorting God's word to fit your...

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Charlie, I have shown you beyond doubt, your error and how your posts contradict scripture. I showed you how peter remarks that Paul wrote about the longsuffering of God leading to the salvation of the elect. What else do you think he was mentioning Paul writings about? I am not even arguing...

    Two Questions

Being without sin he would never die, But there is no hypothetical in scripture, he was the Lamb Slain before the world. Again , no Hypothetical, but no it would not. PSA is the biblical teaching ; Hebrews 9 and 10 are more than conclusive; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by...

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Actually it is clear bible truth you have it all wrong....the longsuffering of God leads to the salvation of each and everyone peter speaks of: 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath...

Christ set forth as a Propitiation

He cannot answer the question because truth has eluded him. In his story, a Holy God does not have to fully punish each and every sin. In his world God can generally punish some sins, and just dismiss other sins??? he gets the whole fall wrong. he gets Romans 3;23 wrong, he gets rom5:12-21...

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

It is obvious that many Baptist Churches stay away from these truths, most likely because of the fear of man. The Pastor only delivers a TED talk, sermonette, so as to not offend some of the big givers who are attending.
