This was the Passover which traditionally was a Saturday and the day of preparation was a Friday. I'm not choosing to ignore anything I'm just looking at it honestly.
Also as these verses show, the day after this Sabbath was the "first" day of the week, ie Sunday. Please show when these other many "Sabbaths" of which you speak.

Jesus words in the Bible said AFTER three days.

    Jesus said:

MATT. 12:40 " So shall the son of man be THREE days and THREE nights in the Earth. "

MATT. 27:63 " And AFTER Three days, I will rise again ".

MARK.8:31 " And AFTER three days, I will rise again ".

I am glad you study Scripture. But you are painting with a very broad brush about "most Christians". My pastor disagrees with your interpretation on this issue. You may be right and he may be wrong.
But that does not mean that those with a different understanding on this issue are calling Jesus a liar.

Would you mind backing up this assertion?

I cited 3 verses in which Jesus and Peter said "ON the third day." Make it plain-- are you saying these verses are lies?

    Friends,

John reveals “that Sabbath”, following the crucifixion, was a “high day" because it fell within Passover week. Passover Day itself was called the “day of preparation”.

Mark, in writing to Gentile Christians, unfamiliar with Jewish terms of the week-days, clarified the term "paraskeue-preparation," by adding the qualifying phrase, "that is, the day before the Sabbath". Mark 15:42.

John explains that the Jews did not wish the bodies to remain on the Cross "on the Sabbath, because it was Preparation" (literal translation does not use "day" in 19:31). Here John not only mentions the Sabbath explicitly, but also refers to the preceding day by the technical term
"paraskeue—Preparation", thus meaning: "because it was Friday."

If Christ died on Thursday, then there would have been somebody during the EARLY Church who objected to commemorating Friday as the day of crucifixion. There is no record of a polemic.

In a succeeding post I wish to show that Jesus alone reveals Daniel’s prophecy of the 69 sets of
“Seven” was fulfilled on Palm Sunday. But five days remained before Messiah was “cut off” on Nisan 14. Passover occurred on a Friday exactly 69 times, no more and no less than 69 times, between the 68 sets of “Seven” BC 445 and AD 32 (445-1=444+32=476%7=68 sets of Seven).

Far more important, however, is that Jesus’ statement that “no one but the Father knows the day of His coming” except by the Jewish way of considering any part of a day as a whole 24-hour
day. (Examples: Peter came to Cornelius in exactly three days; but Cornelius called it four days because parts of four days were involved. Acts 10:3,9,23,30. Luke refers to “about 8 days”
separating Mark 9:1 and Mark 9:2 whereas Mark (and Matthew) say it was “after 6 days”).

Just as Luke 9:28's “EIGHT days” does not contradict Mark and Matthew’s “SIX days”; so the EARLY Christians’ keeping of Good Friday Crucifixion did not contradict Jesus that He would be dead for “three days and three nights”!

More important, this idiomatic expression of “any
part of a day representing a whole day and night” is the only way Jesus could have stated that “no one will know” in advance the exact day of His Coronation (and second coming) ... on one of the 3 1/2 days after "chronos-time is no longer" subject to the 1260-day countdown! Rev.11:7-11.

    Proverbs 16:18
    Pride goeth before destruction,

    Proverbs 13:10
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

    Proverbs 14:3
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride:

    Mark 7:21-23

21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

I wonder how Easter Sunday was in this church? Hope that Jesus was preached, and he got out of the way. In fact, I hope that for all our churches. We had a great day!

    Friends,

This thread should not close without recognizing
that Daniel's prophecy required PASSOVER to fall
on FRIDAY, Nisan 14, exactly 69 times between
    BC 445 and AD 32.

This fact amazingly required Palm Sunday to
occur on Nisan 9, the second Sunday of Nisan,
which Jesus identified as the "day of their
visitation". Passover week was the "time of
    their visitation". Luke 19:41-44.

Palm Sunday had to occur on Nisan 9 because
the final solar-day of the countdown was 21
days short of Nisan 30 ... and the final day
of the Biblical countdown of 483 years (69
sets of seven) was Nisan 30.
