How do you handle anonymous letter in your church?

My pot can't talk... unless I leave last week's cheese dip in it too long.

I don't read the letter until I look at the bottom to find out who it's from. Circular file if there's no name.

 

I gave a million dollars to my church.

But, I wanted it to be anonymous, so I didn't sign the check.

Reckon the pastor read it?

 

Yes, and then threw it in the circular file because there was no name on it and therefore no good to him at all.

1. You posted your material in an Open Public Forum on the Internet for the entire watching world to read and discuss.

2. You asked me to find proof that what you had done was unethical for a Christian Counselor.

3. I took you up on that request and informed you that I would print out some of your posts and ask the Christain Counseling Professors at my Seminary for their opinions of what you have done.

4. You agreed that I could do so and even encouraged me to talk to someone else about the situation. Therefore, I have your permission to share the material.

If you do not wish for me to share the material say so and I will honor your request (I have not talked with anyone about it yet).

Our last pastor said he didn't read anon letters. I'm sure that he opened them to find out they were anon.

I find it interesting that our school, as part of the church, sends out surveys that allows for anon comments. Those comments are taken into consideration. It has been my experience that the anon comments are usually hostile and the positive comments are usually signed.
