Apparently they are WCG, probably one of those rotating advertisements that should be gotten rid of.

What do you think of his literature?
and, in the light of this quote, the doctrines he preached?

Gwyneth, I once came very close to becoming an Armstrongite...but the HOLY SPIRIT opened my eyes to the fact that Herbie believed in Annihilationism, same as do the Jabroney False Witlesses. Further research showed me he was full of prunes, believing in salvation by works, etc.

    HE WAS A POISON MUSHROOM!

Much of his stuff about the descendants of Joseph is true, but he stretched the truth saying Zedekiah's daughters traveled to what is now Scotland with Jeremiah.

Like Hitler, he told 99% truth, but a leading brand of mouse/rat poison is 99.5% wholesome rat/mouse food.

There is a vast different between Armstrongism and the World Wide Church of God. I got to looking at it a few years ago when a WCG pastor lead a prayer service. Something about the name didn't sit well with me. What I found out is that what is now the WCG has renounced Armstrong's heretical beliefs (within the last 15 years.) As a result they have some meager percentage of their former members in their church (something like 25%).

In the updated version of Walter Martin's "Kingdom of the Cults" he details a bit of their turnaround. I think this info can be found at their website

Yes, the World Wide Church of God renounced Armstrong's beliefs and is now a member of the National Evangelical Association. But WWCG members who disagreed with their turnaround in 1986-1989 started their own churches that still follow Armstrong's beliefs. The Restored Church of God is one of the smaller splinter groups.

It appears that the Restored Church of God is going back to Armstrong's original beliefs (heresies) and propagating them once again.

I'm glad I'm FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST, & have been for so long I'm no longer susceptible to cults and false doctrines.

On another board, I vehemently wage verbal war with WWCOGs & RCGs. In my long battle against the KJVO myth, I've learned a lot more about other false doctrines than I may have learned otherwise.
