Yeah but why does the corn in the generic brand cans not taste as good as Green Giant?

One of the great oddities in life -- like bathroom tap water tasting different than kitchen tap water.

Keeping in the spirit of this thread I
Just can't understand why people want to debate so
Vehemenantly over a topic that matters so little.

i prefer topics that are fun and even
    silly at times.

Even so, I guess the debates are good for the mind.
Very difficult to convince people of it however.
It always comes back to the same points over and over.
Little light and a lot of heat.

This was meant to be humorous, please don't be offended!

That`s a fact - it certainly beats `mud slinging` of which a lot is going on BB at times

We're having stew tonight, yummy :c9.

Last night I tried something new. Took 2 sweet potatoes and sliced them in half. Spritzed them with Extra Virgin Olive Oil all over and liberally sprinkled them with dried rosemary, a little garlic salt, and some coarse ground pepper on the cut sides. Baked at 375oF for about an hour, cut sides up. Quite tasty!
Think I'll try it on regular potatos next.

Garlic, rosemary, and pepper on a *sweet* potato? What's wrong with you man?!?!

Everyone knows you cook them with butter and cinnamon.

It's called a "savory" sweet potato. [IMG]

I was skeptical at first and almost made one potato the "normal" way (which is to bake them then somther them in butter and brown sugar). But it turned out quite delicious. Even my wife agreed.

My wife found a new way to keep onion tears down by accident. She was cutting onions this morning and they were really bothering her, then I started brewing my morning pot of coffee and problem solved!

Hmm... I'm not imagining anything "savory" about it. Might give it a go sometime though.

Ah, yes! Ignore the onions, drink coffee and watch Good Morning America. That always works [IMG]
