The only evil an owl can bring is to the mouse that is unfortunate enough to get caught out in the open when he is hunting. The idea that a plastic owl gives the devil any rights is crazy. In my part of the country many native americans hold this kind of superstition. I have been led to preach about this more than once. A good passage of scripture to use concerning superstition and idols (as it seems this deacon has made of the plastic owl), and how the believer should deal with the subject, is found in Jeremiah, 10. I'll not quote it wholly, but v:5 ends with "do not be afraid of them, for they can do no evil, Nor can they do any good."

 

I would have to ask him for scripture and verse on that one.
the reason that the owl figure scares the mouse is that it is a natural predetor not that the owl is evil.
that is like saying that the cow itself is evil because they made a golden calf and worshipped it. or because the people in india worship it. this is not good logic and the scripture calls us to be of a sound mind.

This owl god is pobably in your pocket at this very moment. Take out a one dollar bill. Look at the front right hand coner. Notice the number (1) in the upper left of this (1) is a small hollow...look closely...use a magnifying glass there you will see the owl with wing pointing left, face forward, feet right. This is a very small copy of the 45 foot stone owl statue at the Bohemian grove.

Alex Jones a Texas based documentary film maker has sneeaked in to the grove and filmed the "mock" sacrifice. He is the only one that has done this and it is admited in the newspapers.

 

Did he by any chance know how many lickes it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop?

On earth,Satan can take that which God has made and use it for evil. Witches use the owl, cat, raven, snake and others for what they call familiars, a spirit held to guard or serve a person.
It's all in what YOU make it.
He, Satan, has screwed up Christmas, Resurrection Day(Easter), T.V. was once wholesome, music was meant for praise and worship, and the church once stood in the way of evil, but now it sits and watches.However,I still go to church trying to make a difference, enjoy the true meaning of Christmas and Resurrection Day, watch T.V., and listen to the radio. The owl is a beautiful creature and is just that to me.

 

Ah yes the conspiracy theory...theory. I was only following the rest of the owl question asked in this thread. I didn't start it. I only posted that which I understand to be so. I suppose you can call anyone a conspiracy nutcase if you only give that someone a casual glance...or you just feel more comfortable following the rest of "the world".

Do you honestly think that our adversary doesn't have friends in high places? What vigilant means to me...is to not to allow myself to be taken unawares. So, with this idea in mind I check these things out. Yes the worlds elite worship other gods...why wouldn't they worship an "ancient deity" that God himdelf has warned us of time and time again?

How did you find out Alex is a "conspiracy nut" is this something that you looked into or did someone tell this?

It's well documented that Hitler was an occultist and most of his nazi followers. It's also well documented that astrologers were more than welcome in the Clinton white house. I don't take this kind of activity lightly.

I apologize for this being in the pastoral forum...but...I have to ask the question, aren't pastors "shepards" supposed to warn their "flock" of such dangers?

 

I have always been a history and biblical archeology "nut" I probably found it somewhere along those lines. I understand it may seem that he has a fixation with the illuminati in everything as you say. I will just say that Alex only reports that which is reported on the back pages of the main stream media. Hidden in plain view.

If you are to study the history of this nation and it's foundations it seems that everywhere we look there is some kind of "sign" of the occult or "illuminists". Do a google search on the statue of liberty...who built it? What does all those spikes in the headpiece stand for?

Numbers and images are everywhere IF you know what to look for. It's just off the charts! All hidden in plain view. Take your dollar bill for instance, or look at an aerial map of washington dc. Why does the white house sit at the bottom (south) of a giant pentagram. If you look even closer you see an owl figure as well laid out in the streets.

Take a close look at the AOL symbol...what do you see? I see a pyramid with 3 6's in it. Look close now. How many places do you see the pyramid these days? I see it everywhere. Mostly on government seals and logos why is that?? Don't you ever ask your self this?

Take the Washington monument, do a search on it's origins. It's a symbol for none other than baal! Next question...how many presidents faced this monument when they were sworn to uphold the constitution?

I ask you, is it such a strectch of the imagination to think that maybe...just maybe we have all been "blinded" by a media that has been bought and paid for by interests that have something other than our best interests in mind?

I'm working on a short blerb to put into another forum here on BB. I will attempt to show you that these "illuminists" are for real, and speak to each other on a daily basis. I'll give you an example now. These people take numbers very serious...like the numbers 11, 13, 22, 33.

Next time you go to McDonald's and grab a bite to eat turn the (empty) box over sideways that your large order of fries came in...see that cute little smile under the arches what is that? Yep the number 13...wanna see it again? Go to Arby's and look at the sign out front...turn that on it's side, there it is again, the number 13.

These folk's are for real. And they are the same now as they have been for thousands of years...only now they own everything!!

Jesus knew them, he preached against them. Were the Pharises not a sect...a cult that Jesus spoke out against? When did they die out or disappear? I submit they didn't! They just looked more and more normal to people whose morals slid out from under them. And they continue to this day. In power in the highest offices just as they were in Jesus time. But now they have the power to kill everyone on the planet. And wear 2,000 dollar suits.

We are warned by Jesus about these people...they are still with us and very powerful. This may not be in the bible but it still is a good saying in my mind....KNOW THINE ENEMY!

BTW the FBI has been training police that you and I are terrorist suspects...read my blerb in the politics forum. I give you the proof there! They have doing this for years!! Are Americans Terrorist suspects...it's there for all to see.

Hi guys! I posted that link about Molech/Owl(on pg.2) to help brobobby see that "maybe" that's why his deacon didn't want the fake owl.

Our street-ministry has been branded terrorists for a year now...because on one of our signs we hold, we have an upside-down flag. Our nation is in distress & we are in imminent danger of the judgment of God.

We do know what you're saying poncho...have seen it, including the black helicopters & the chem-trails. Also know about Rex 84, mercury, chips, etc...thanks to good patriot broadcasts off the shortwave & C-band satellite.

Just this weekend a visiting street-preacher(& his 16y/o son) was arrested...gasp...for preaching the word of God! Jesus is coming soon~ You can count on it!

Some people would call me and alarmist...but that's only because I'm alarmed! lol.

russel55, Whatever God has laid on your heart to do then do it. I will be the last to tell you your ministry is futile. Do you think I have not spent hours on my knees asking for the truth and for God's guidance? I assure you I have.

I dig only for the truth as the Holy Spirit would guide me into it. I do test the spirits as I am commanded to do by searching the scriptures daily. Cannot I, after learning the truth proclaim it? Is it a waste of time to warn of what I know is about to come to those who may otherwise never know?

And what about those who are not His at this time. Is there a set rule for those of us who are to proclaim the truth? In hopes of their gaining salvation? Who am I to say what is to be the workings of the spirit in a persons life to obtain this salvation through Jesus Christ?

Or do I just keep it to myself and say I am His and all is well. No need to look out for my brothers and sisters and those still lost who may not be warned in time?

I shudder to think of what the people in the time of our saviour Jesus Christ would have thought if not for the works of John the Baptist. No, I do not claim I do John's work...only the work I believe is mine through what has been laid upon my heart.

The only owl I have ever dealt with was one in a poem W-A-Y back in elementary school. It went like this:

The wise old owl lived in an oak
The more he heard the less he spoke.
The less he spoke the more he heard
Why can't we all be like that bird!
