Health issue

    i was on antibiotics and i am having constipation now going on 2 weeks but the doctor said they were strong antibiotics and it may take a while to get straightened out.

    Be aware that the antibiotics can cause serious colitis type problems so if you develop diarrhea in the next 3 months and it doesn't stop within a day or so or if it's not a normal type illness, see your doctor right away. I got VERY ill after taking 2 days of Keflex, 14 days of Clindamycin and then 10 days of Amoxicillin for an abscessed tooth.

    I suggest lots of yogurt with live / active cultures and you can buy acidophilus/ live bacteria capsules or chewables at a good pharmacy or from Dr. Bob's wife. Get the ones that need to be kept in the fridge!

    what kind of yogurt and can the acidophilus be bought over the counter.
