    Hello everyone,

    My name is Steven Anderson, and I am the pastor of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona. I just started the church a little
    over two months ago completely from scratch, and things are going great! We average about 20 on Sunday am, 15 on Sunday pm, and 15 on Wednesday pm. I work full time as a manager for a fire alarm company to pay the bills as I start this church.

    Yes, I was sent out from Regency Baptist Church in Orangevale, CA (there is a link to their website from mine). I'm not sure what you mean by my calling; I decided to spend my life winning people to Christ and preaching and was sent out by my local church.

    I am curious as to your calling, but I'm also curious about your education. On your website page about you, nothing is mentioned about college and/or seminary or any other kinds of biblical training.

    "Calling" is part of the jargon of some Christian circles that not everyone is familiar with.

    When someone speaks of a calling, they're talking about a spiritual urging to a particular ministry that is typically strong and persistent.
