    Over the past few years, our Canadian members have felt the sting of American disapproval over their nation's stand on the Iraq War.

    However, in light of last week's events, I want to take this opportunity to pay my respects and extend my condolences to those Capt. Nichola Goddard of the 1st Royal Canadian Horse Artillery left behind.

    Her Husband's Statements

    From my sources, CAPT Goodard was a Forward Observer Officer. And is described by a senior NCO as "good to go." She was killed in action by the Taliban.

    Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant Captain Nichola Goddard. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
