    Peace Like a River by Leif Enger

    Here is a work of fiction that I very highly recommend. Just finished reading this book and the ending gave me goosebumps. Understand it is soon to be a movie. I hope they dont ruin it. Read the reviews:

    Exploring the Minor Prophets by John Phillips. Phillips has become my favorite commenatator since I heard him speak a couple of years ago.
    Also reading the Nov/Dec issue of Biblical Archaeology Review.
