I came across the MANUAL OF THEOLOGY [LINK] by Southern Baptist minister, John L. Dagg (1794 to 1884)

Dagg's theology has been classified as "moderate Calvinistic Augustinianism."

Has anyone read and studied any of his works?

Dagg is very much worth your time. He is easily readable and explains God's sovereignty in salvation in a warm, pastoral fashion.
