You sure like to pull out your "Replacement Theology" bugbear a lot. The cause of anti-Semitism is the evil that resides in the human heart from conception forward, not the Biblical truth that God treats all peoples alike now.

    Galatians 3:28 (KJV)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

    Ephes. 2:11-14 (KJV)
    Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; [12] That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: [13] But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

    1. We have not turned out backs on Israel. We are the main supporters of Israel and supply it win billions of dollars every year.

    2. I see no reason for our nation to go up in flames any time soon, regardless of what may be the wishes of some extremists among dispensationalists.

If you can't see the greatness that still resides in the American people then I feel very sorry for you. I am surprised that you don't want to move to another country if you truly believe our nation will soon go up in flames. But maybe that is just hyperbolic rhetoric on your part.

After the rapture the whole universe goes up in flames.

    2 Peter 3:10-13 (ESV)
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
[11] Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, [12] waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! [13] But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

No so, LE. It happens immediately upon the completion of the rapture or maybe simultaneously with it.

OH, but they DO matter, Joseph. They are dreading the day the Palestinians gain control because they will be subject to the same situation as the Baptist pastor in Bethlehem, unfortunately. See my earlier post.

I, like Pastor Vines, recognize when the Replacement Theology error raises it's ugly head. We are talking about core beliefs. You and others believe in Replacement Theology when you say the everlasting covenants with Israel have been replaced with the church taking the place of Israel and the nation of Israel of the OT is done away with and the land doesn't matter. You need to quote Romans 11:2ff

    2. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
    3. Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
    4. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
    5. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

    Also Romans 9:6, 7

    6. Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
    7. Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Exactly, you have just proved my point. Thank you. Read the Scripture without the "Replacement Theology" bias. [IMG]

    LE

I would probably have agreed with you if you had stopped with
However, you need to decide who are the people of God, those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior [Christians] or those who have rejected Jesus Christ as Savior [Jews/Israel]. I know that dispensationalists have a thing about the Jews but what you say is not only ridiculous it is unBiblical and unChristian.

That's what the Bible teaches, LE. If you don't like it, I am sorry but there's nothing I can do about it. I am going to believe God, not you and your dispensationalist teachings.

Well, no it isn't, Old Reg. You are blurring the lines between a physical land/nation promise & a spiritual condition.

You can't disprove dispensationalism from the Bible, so you will just get on your righteous high horse, LOL. [IMG]

Many people have proven that dispensationalism is wrong, LE. There are lots of books that have done so. I am sure you can Google and find plenty of info that proves that dispensationalism is wrong, if you care to study the matter.
