By this comment are you saying that President Bush is not saved and is engaged in actions, as a leader, that are contrary to Biblical ways?

If so, how do you know whether he is saved or not? Isn't that up to the Lord? While we may observe conduct and deduce what we think is the state of a person we certainly do not know.

If so, specifically what actions, in his role as a leader, is he engaged that are contrary to Biblical ways? Are these things completely within his power to address?

Isa 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Isa 59:5 They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
Isa 59:6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
Isa 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
Isa 59:8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

BTW, Bill Clinton carried a Bible and went to church as well.

Luk 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Luk 6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
Luk 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

</font>[/QUOTE]There's nothing wrong with the scriptures - we all know that - but exactly how do these connect to your assertions about the President?

Dragoon68, good point.

Obviously he hasn't read about the occupation of the promised land where God ordered every man, woman and child slaughtered.

There is a time for war and a time for peace.

Sure, let's allow the terrorists to fly another jet full of people into the Empire state building or the Capital building.

Off the subject just a bit: Interesting isn't it that Tom Clancy wrote about a terrorist flying into the Capital. I wonder how much this type of fiction influences people like terrorists?

It must have influenced the government some also. Why else would they run so many training drills of planes flying into buildings prior to and during the 911 attacks? And the Bush crew later said no one in the administration ever imagined such a thing happening. I can understand why the Bush crew might say such a thing but I sure can't understand why people would believe them, considering all the evidence to the contrary.
