Strange. We never saw American Muslims taking to the streets en masse to protest over 09/11, yet they've joined up with the illegals. Could it be there are higher numbers of illegal Muslims in America than what we've been told?

Does it not bother you that these people illegally entered our country? I don't like that many businesses are hiring them...but does that make the ends justify the means?


Further question: could you, as a Christian, rightfully employ them? Wouldn't you be in rebellion to authorities?

Lots of immigrant workers here in our community... most of them legal I'll assume. The economy here is such that if you don't work, you don't eat. Plenty of people, not enough jobs. I'd say if anyone doesn't show up today, they can just go on down to unemployment... and if they're illegal, that's gonna be a problem too.

 

No problem. You can buy fake green cards and fake social security numbers, so it's no problem filing for unemployment benefits if you're an illegal alien. It's not just one law they are breaking (by invading our borders).

I don't think the issue is so black and white. What I find odd is that it seems like the same people who don't want illegal aliens to do work here also don't want the jobs to go there - "Us four, no more" kind of attitude.

 

I reckon that these businesses that are shut down for today are, for the most part, doing so because they have hired illegal aliens? If so, then the federal government should be at these places of business tomorrow morning to round up any illegal aliens for deportation as well as heavily fining anyone employing illegal aliens.

And you're stretching the "love and charity" thing a long way...giving them food, shelter, etc. is one thing. Enabling them to break the law is another. I guess when your mind's made up already, you'll find a reason...

Notice how the news says 'immigrants' hold rallies ?
If they are 'immigrants' then they are legal, otherwise they are illegal aliens, not immigrants.
An immigrant is one who came through the front door of any country, with papers to show that he has been given the right to stay, work, and live in that country, and share almost all of the benefits of a naturalized or natural born citizen of that country, except to vote and work in some sensitive jobs.
An illegal alien on the other hand is someone who came in deceptively through the front door (tourist who becomes illegal), or the back door.
Yet media is lumping them all under the category of 'immigrants'.
Just a thought, DC and most parts of Maryland seem a little quieter and pleasanter. In some parts of Prince Georges county, I actually hear English again, and see more white and african american faces again.
