    3-0!

I'm rooting for Vandy to get a winning season!

(I'm still rooting for the Hogs, but I love rooting for underdogs, too.)

I will have to admit I watched part of the Vandy Ole Miss game and Vandy looked pretty good. But I wouldn't make reservations for the Rose bowl just yet [IMG]

I watched part of that game too, and I don't know what was more pleasing--seeing Ole Miss lose or seeing Vandy win!

I have absolutely NO familiarity with Vanderbilt. Have they ever had good sports program in any field. I mean, I would not have even known what STATE they were in.

    Besides girl's field hockey? [IMG]

Their basketball team is usually pretty fair.

Vandy is a private school in Nashville Tennessee. They have not been 3 and 0 in over twenty years. Most of thier sports teams are not competitive. Cant say I am rooting for them but they are a whole lot better than the NFL team we have here. :D

Vanderbilt University fields teams for the following womens sports:
    Basketball
    Bowling
    Cross Country
    Golf
    LaCrosse
    Soccer
    Tennis
    Track and Field

They do not field a womens field hockey team.

I hope they recover and do well in the future. They could try to pad thier non-conference games with teams that are significantly weaker than they are. That is common in PAC-10,Big 10,SEC,and several other conferences.
