Major Forum Upgrade This Weekend

Did the secret science forum get nuked? I can't find it anymore.

But it's empty!! Where did all the threads go??

Edit: Nevermind, they're there, just all dated as posted in 1969!

 

I figured it out...but I don't have permission to post there. LOL

 

Tried the left control key with the mouse wheel and it did not work. The font is much too small for me to read, too. Changing in the Control Panel will not help because I use this computer for work. Will there be some control panel on the BB to adjust font?

 

Hokay... BIG changes. But I guess I can get used to it.

My question is... when tags do we use in here now? I have used BBCode Xtra for a while now, but it doesn't seem to work now. Neither does Smiley Xtra. [Both are Firefox extensions].

BBCode options don't even show up in my right click menu on here now...

 

I still can't believe I missed that this was even going to be happening...

I even went as far as to post on another board... "Baptist Board takes a big hit!" Whoa Boy did I ever catch it!

hmmm.

Call me a stick in the mud...but this is the first topic I have looked at since the "Upgrade" and I can't stand it...not nearly as user friendly as the old board...I guess I'll have to try to get use to it....

I came back to edit...
I spent a couple of more minutes floating around some of the topics and have come to the conclusion that this new format is definitely not user friendly...at least to my taste... I can't click on my scroll wheel to open a new window in the back (avant feature) because it changes the current window too. I was checking the BB several times a day....I may move to once or twice every week or so. I have a toyota in my driveway and I don't drive it unless I feel I have to. It's not user friendly either.

 

WinDork, that was you? How awful! I jokingly teased you about it, and you resorted to being foul and calling people female dogs and other nasty names.

I'll be making sure Webmaster knows you are the same person. Thanks for pointing it out.

One thing I already love is that now I can see which threads I have posted in! The computer forum I post in has this feature (it uses a much older verion of vB), and I always wished we had it here on the BB.

I also love that the forum jump actually jumps when you choose a different foum.

It's about time BB upgraded! I love the new look and all the extra features!

 

I see that the 15 minute limit on editing posts is still in effect. What is the basis for the rule? I do not know of any other Christian board that does this.
