    I will have to remember that. UGH! I hated those ice for 10 minutes, and then heat for ten minute treatments. I do not think they helped. But I will try what you said, when pain hits me.

    Heat socks are good for the neck and shoulders after a long day of data entry. I actually have one at work and heat it up on certain days when I need it. Today was one of those days. :( [​IMG]

    Sort of. I think it's name is the "Bed Buddy". It's a tube sock filled with what smells like rice. When I heat mine up at work someone always says, "Hmm, whatever that is, it sure does smell good." I guess it would, ecspecially around lunch time. Each sock's end has synthetic rope for handles. You can heat in the microwave and get the wet heat or you can put it in the freezer. The contents get cold but do not freeze. After heating it stays warm for quite a while. It's better than a heating pad and more comfortable, plus it portable.

    My mom got me a heat pillow. It's about the size of an average Bible. It has rice, peanuts hulls and peas in it. It gets really moist, but has a funky smell. They call it aroma therapy.
