    Deer Thomas,

It was sarcasm. I have absolutely no desire to read your blog.

That is the post you chose to prove "Jusus" is a liberal? When it is kept in context, I think it proves just the opposite.

MY Jesus is quite clear that not every human will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Every person has the opportunity to enter, but just being a "good person" and having " inherent value" prescribed by men does not automatically qualify you as a follower of Christ. The problem is that people, even liberals, do not know their true value. We are not automatically given value to be worthy to be in the presence of Jesus and/or God. That is given to us only by grace and mercy - renewed daily. He calls his children a peculiar people, set apart, from the rest of the world. That does not sound liberal to me.

You know, the "Jesus is a liberal" conversation might be better suited for the debate forum. :)

What we (conservatives) do not do is use government to solve our problems and take care of us. However, liberals use government to do these things in order to gain political power. Jesus avoided any talk of relying on government so no He was not a liberal. It was liberals who belonged to the KKK and Nazi's, Democrats and socialists.

Are you TOTALLY ignorant of history? There are no liberals in the KKK, and NAZIs are as "right wing" as possible. Liberal has to do with how you treat and view other people. Conservative is about giving power and wealth to a privileged few. NAZIs were all about using government for power. The Republican party openly thought Hitler was a good guy. The policies advocated by most of the Republican presidential candidates tend to revolve around greed and jingoism. Remember what Jesus said about the poor. Very Liberal.

Trying to compare the so called "right wing" of Germany back then to the right wing in the US is like comparing apples and refrigerators. There is no comparison based on that. The founding of Germany and the founding of the US are starkly different. So saying they were right wing and thereby conflating Nazi's to the right wing in the US is a logical fallacy known as a hasty generalization.

However, Nazi's did make use of government to solve their issues and were in fact socialists for the purpose of political power.

As afar as the jingoism claim, well that is about a subjective accusation as one can get. It is pure bias and not founded in any real logic or facts.

The European version of right wing is not quite the same as the American version. In Europe, the phrase right wing is roughly equal to nationalist.
