Missionaires

I personally know several missionaries - sent form my church and otherwise - doing short term missions can be very enlightening, and yes fun

 

I know a few of them. One family in particular. In fact when I got saved, I remember thinking "I wish I could go with them!"
This couple were missionaries to Grenada {now he is an evangelist}, and I remember they had a part in me getting saved. He preached revival a few months before my salvation, and though I didn't get saved in that revival, it made me VERY aware I was bound to hell.
I remember Brother Don and Miss Barbara took time to speak to me every night they were there before and after the services. I don't know why. There was certianly nothing appealing about me then. But they showed that they REALLY cared about me, when many others didn't.
When they found out I was saved, they were so excited, and whenever they are back home and at my church or another church close by, I go to the services.
I wish I could keep in touch with them better, but at least I can pray for them. It's a precious blessing to know I will spend eternity with them.

I know quite a few missionaries-just not necessarily the one my church supports I went to a missonary high school so I think I may actually know more missionaries than the average person. However, my home church doesn't personally send missonaries but it supports Baptist organizations that do.

 

God has been calling me to be a missionary !
