    BB! :) By the way, I used to know quite a few
    people in your town. Love the apples there!

    Another "By the way": about 20 years ago, while in
    Minneapolis, some friends had a Monopoly game
    based upon your area. Do they still have those
    there?

    I'm near Seattle. My husband is from the Eastern side of the state. Lots more sunshine there, but no coast!

    So what am I? A follower of Christ first. Then I am also a wife to my husband and mom to a pack of teenagers [​IMG]

    so how close are you to yakima. what church do you go to and to all the rest of you people from the W.A.its been COLD im from cali so its very cold to me. to lady that was asking about the monopoly game i really dont know i just know we got alot of apples and i havent even seen a apple tree funny huh? to the miss abby do you go to friendship baptist church? are do you know chirs haszlip are how ever you spill it, he was the pastor there hes a good friend of mine. talk to you all later

    Hey, my friend!!

    Most likely, I am confused because I, too, am a
    displaced Californian living in WA!! :-D And the
    air quality around here lately hasn't helped much!
    Had to go out of town the other day, and upon
    reentering, the air was a dirty pinkish gray at noon.
    GROSS!

    By the way, displaced Californians are very
    disliked and disrespected in this state! I have
    experienced it in stores!

    That prejudice against imported CA's is out of style. The story was that when the CA's came up after selling their million dollar homes in CA, they were able to buy huge homes here, thereby driving prices up and then WA residents couldn't afford them and had to move to Idaho. But then, Mr. Gates hired all of the remaining residents and then they could afford the houses, even at the new inflated prices. Just a bit of local history, as I saw it [​IMG]

    Course, you could go into what the bitter people did once they got to the hills of ID... sorry - I'm done hijacking!
