1Peter 1
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation*;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

* that is in all of your life, including music, be holy, separated unto God.

So what does that mean, exactly? Crucify your flesh and then let the Holy Spirit and your conscience guide you as to what degree of separation God is calling for here.

But don't just blow off this commandment of your Lord.

My earnest prayer is that our youth would receive a double portion of the Spirit, suprassing everything we of older generations have accomplished.

What if his foot is stuck? We might need to get him emergency help.

 

Definitely! Because we wouldn't want him to die of hunger and exposure from being stuck 1/2 way in a grave out in the cold, dreary graveyard! But hey- they wouldn't need to move the body for the funeral! Gross!!!

 

What about this one-- Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Your music affects the way you think, and it most certainly affects your spiritual life. If your music is the same thing as everybody else who ISn't a Christian, what can you show them that would make a non-believer want to come to Christ? g2g- me
