What do you want to be when you grow up?

I have recently been looking at Heartland Baptist college..it seems like a great school and I really feel God might be leading me there. Is there many of you that go there? If so can you tell me a little about the school?

 

I go there. Well what do you want to know? The preachings hot but the thing thats best is the spirit. God's on this place and something that is such a blessing is the relationship between student and staff its personal there some teachers that well thats all they are but most are there for you and whatever you need, be it prayer to talk or a pat on the back they just want to encouage. Bro Copes the v.p was such a great blessing at the begining of this year I was facing someting BIG and it was close braking me and he was there to cry with and pray with man I love it. Any young person that has a heart for the Lord and his work will fit in and will love it. You know there are some very few worldly people there for other reasons but for the most part to me it seems that people are real and they have walk.

Yeah, a couple of friends of mine visited last spring during college days.Do you know if they are going to have college days again this year?

 

Yes we are its a mouth away. have you ever visted the school? You know its great to visit but its nothing until your part of it. When I came out for college days last year it was great bit when I became a student oh my thats when you really get to see what HBBC is all about. You should maybe come up for college days next mouth. Ill give you more imfo later about college days.

 

No I havent ever been to the school, but Im really wanting to see it. I was looking on the website calender and it didnt say anything about college days...do you know when they are?

I'm called to the ministry...not sure where in the ministry..God hasn't fully revealed that to me yet. He is leading and I will follow, with only the strength that Jesus offers. I applied 2 days ago for Landmark Baptist College in Haines City Florida. My heart is in missions and youth...but God may have other plans. Please keep me in you prayers while I embark on this next journey of my christian walk.

I am reviving this topic because I saw a good friend of mine was mentioned and his name was spelled wrong. Jason Gaddis, is a friend, a great preacher. My good friend, Bradley, whom I like to call preacher boy, is going to HBBC this up coming Fall. He says it's a great school, and that there is a Krispy Kreme Donuts real close to the campus. (I did n't ask for that info he just gave it to me. Baptist men always have food on their minds). And if he recommends it, I would take his word for it.

 

Oh BTW I am not making fun of you Clint, just telling about HBBC, all "preacher boys" have spelling/typing problems, that's why I do most of Asst. Pastor's secretarial work for him.

 

It's not just preachers Kayla. I'm surprised they let me get this far in school, considering sometimes I mispell my name. I think if spelling something were considered a life or death cituation, I'd be double-barrel DEAD.
Prehaps the lack of spelling capabilities is a sign of intellagence??? One could hope, right?
