    Paragraph one: no analogy is perfect, but this one is close.

    Paragraph two: thank you for bringing that parable up, as it reinforces my point. Christ says that you should be content with WHAT WAS AGREED upon beforehand, even if someone else agreed upon the same wage for less work.

    What he DIDNT say is that it's ok for someone to to take away what was agreed upon when they didn't do the work. To work in the field, they had to talk to the owner first. They couldn't just walk in and get everything everyone else was getting.
