Ahhh...now our heart is going in the right direction.

I'd start by prostrating yourself before Almighty God and crying Psalm 51 out loud.

You don't understand anything about the bible, do you? It is YOU who will not listen to sound doctrine. YOU.

"Fear"? Now you're trying childish provocation? Are we on a kindergarten playground?

I don't place you on ignore because of fear; I do it because you're a broken record.

Well even in my own sin we must remember that God still uses people who sin. Thousands of Christians get divorced for non biblical reasons and God still uses them.

Evan, I really thought you were going to listen to these men (and women) of God, when you posted the question I quoted (above).

Yes, legally - you are divorced and no longer (legally) have a wife.

You have tried to twist Bible passages to meet your narrow view of interpenetration.

YOU made a promise to God Almighty to love your wife until Death due you par
Now you say there are events that you have not mentioned that is part of the divorce.
I understand that you may not want to post that in this open forum.
What I would recommend, is that you PM about 4 solid ministers in this thread - (and you can do a joint PM) give more of the details - and ask them to - in essence - to sit in council.

If you are really serious about living for the Lord - then you need to make some major changes.
In the past, I have recommenced - apparently you have refused this solid recommendation.

So right now you need to decided what you want to do - follow Godly advice or keep making excuses.

I have some home work for you - Here about 2 dozen verses - read each verse - and then repeat it 2 more times.

As far as your divorce - as I said before - legally the Court has said you are divorced, yet you made a promise in the presence of Almighty God to love your wife - unconditionally. Now take a look what God said in Act 5:29.

These men and women of God on this board are concerned about you. Please listen to them. They have the maturity and experience to assist you .

We can only do so much - AGAIN - STOP THE EXCUSES - REPENT - apologize to your wife (and dont demand an apology from your wife) Let God lead you step by step - Also - find a good solid pastor in your area that you can confide in and counsel you.

Here in Syracuse there is a man who owns several car dealerships. He came to speak at our church one Sunday. He related how as a young man he was married to early and quickly. He then divorced his wife. After repenting of his sin and rebellion - he ended up getting married to his wife again. They have been solid Christians for many years now. Yes, God does preform miracles.
So are you ready for the blessings of God ? Then you need to be in his perfect will.

When we can no longer change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”~Viktor Frankl

Only if they repent and "go and sin no more." You still refuse to do that.

But John MacArthur CLEARLY disagrees with Keener. You cannot pick and choose what to hear because you like what it says but instead you need to understand the WHOLE counsel of Scripture. This is a case of where you need to disregard Keener and regard Jesus Christ.
