    Why is BaptisBoard unethical?

    1) deleted my thread in which several were having a discusion, "Does Anyone Agree with What I Believe?" because of their alterior motives in so doing (that expose that baptism is with or without water and that you can not mary calvinism and osas arminian. http://www3.telus.net/trbrooks/choosingatheology.htm
    2) not only did they move the post, they deleted it after much discussion in "Other Denominations".
    3) The forum "Other Denominations" has a sticky "Other Religions" so Other Denominations is really to the Baptist cult "Other Religions". This is the Borg-like mentality we we will assimilate you into physical water baptism; yet the Bible says Baptism is with or without water in burial and resurrection with Christ which shows most Baptists do not know Baptism (this is the truth being concealed by the Baptistboard and why they deleted the thread) as proven here,
    http://www3.telus.net/trbrooks/waterbaptism.htm
    4) This experience has been documented here,
    http://www3.telus.net/trbrooks/wsf2.htm

My prayers go out to you with love.

Let us refuse such division in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for the Church only divides according to Biblical locality, resolving issues locally, not in a denomination that extends beyond many localities, infecting other localities to another.

    http://www3.telus.net/trbrooks/whichchurch.htm

Also making BaptistBoard an advertising agency with so much banner advertising and button ranking systems is very carnal and vain in what ought to be a place of spiritual discussion undistracted.

Shame on you! Self is showing through.

Ironic that your title is low morals when the link you give is to the lowest kind of morality ... gossip and false statements.

These are facts, but your self-declaration is quite unrighteous.

You need to get a conscience.

Just an fyi that there are many posters who present positions that are controversial and different from the "traditional Baptist party line" who do not get their posts or threads deleted.

Correction Deeptruth. [IMG] Your thread was not deleted, simply transferred (by one of the Forum Moderators) into the Moderator's Private Forum, in order to examine your intent if you are in compliance with our BB Posting Rules?

I have printed out your thread for my own reference, as I read easier from a printed page than from the monitor. I used Arial Narrow 9-point typeface and it came to 17 pages. [IMG] As I have read your question and then have read the answers, it was evident right away that your question was loaded as you started to debate rather than collect data. In fact, you belittled some of the folks because of their believes and wrote: "My prayer go out to you for you do not realize what you do." It is evident from your answers to most posters that you look down upon them for their personal faith and belief. Now it is one thing to earnestly ask a question and see how people answer, and it is an altogether different matter to ridicule them for their faith and belief. Those actions are clearly in violation of our Posting Rules #2, 3, 4, and 5 (to mention a few).

I trust and hope that you will refrain from using similar discussion style, and instead you will join us to constructively contribute to the success of this great discussion board. Hope you will take to your heart, what I was trying to communicate to you and you'll rise for the occasion. Thank you, and God bless! [IMG]

    Barnabas Halo,

That is lame (not so halo, not so barnabas). I am not able nor is anyone else able to read stuff in a moderator forum.

It is not loaded, the truth is never loaded. Stating a fact is not starting a debate. Why sin the sin of bearing false witness and blaming?

I am the lowest and the weakest, I do not look down but it would be expected the evil spirit in your heart will blame and accuse vaguely that I would look down on others when I do not. Perhaps you are just reflecting your own personality onto me.

These were not questions but truths. When one has the truth they should not be afraid to give it. It is because I love you that I give you the truth, not to ridicule but for you to repent.

Therefore these are not violations of Rules 2, 3, 4, and 5 except in your deceitful imaginations and self-servingness.

I trust you will not be a blamer and keep your soul blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus. Take a look at your heart, let God show you how you are misbhaving, so that you may rise to the occassion and give glory to God.

Just for your information, not so many speak the truth directly that baptism is with or without water in burial and resurrection with Christ showing a denomination built around physical water is quite cultish and not knowing baptism in spiritual reality.

Deepertruth, thank you for your kind remarks about my name and your expression of love toward me, as quoted above. I do not think you know me well enough to make such an assertion, but I have never in my 66 years were taken back at personal criticism and the "truth" you are alleging to present. Just for you to know, the Lord has forgiven my sins well over 50 years now and have forever sealed me through the shed blood of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Golgotha. Praise the Lord, ever since that time He has been my guide to the truth and has been my example in the way of righteousness.

I do acknowledge His words to His disciples when He said, "For without me you can do nothing." Yes, I may be helpless and without much knowledge at times, but thank be to God that knowledge starts with fearing God, as we read in Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." And I praise Him also for teaching me daily from His holy Words, the Bible to come to the "truth."

After reading your remarks to me, I noticed that you neglected to mention 1 Timothy 4:12b "...be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." And if you are so keen of presenting the "truth," please remember the Bible directive which tells us that "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:" (Ephesians 4:15). Forgive me for saying it, but some of your answers to your fellow posters failed to adhere to these Biblical precepts. Now, by reading your comments I observed that you love the Lord and you wish to communicate Biblical truths to your fellow men. What I would like to ask, however, is that you incorporate Ephesians 4:15 into your mode of communications and you will have nothing to fear from the BaptistBoard.com Administrative Council. So, what will it be? Will you continue to placate the BB with your diatribes or sit down to edify the readers? I pray that it be the latter. [IMG]

A place of low morals need not be abided in it's man made rules of control when it is so fallen.

If it is true that you are saved, then do not remain a carnal Christian but accept that baptism is with or without water through burial and resurrection with Christ (see the proof in the link given). Otherwise, you shall not receive rewards with Christ to reign with Him for 1000 years - the time of recompense.

It is not unexpected that the evil spirit will use Scripture for his purposes. So do not use 1 Tim. 4.12b to sin against another to sin the sin of bearing false witness and yourself left not blameless before the Lord in so doing. Moreover, when one does not mention every verse of Scripture it is not a neglecting. What strange spirited accusation in your heart.

Sharing His love with you then to say this love is not that of Eph. 4.15 shows your life has some possession not of God. Where this possession exists is in you, is why you need to respond to what has been revealed to you that you yet can not accept.

I already have nothing to fear from Baptistboard.com so I need not seek to not fear that which I do not already fear. Perhaps in this idea of yours, you are afraid to leave this denomination as represented by this forum. By the Holy Spirit all things are possible.

The mode of communication of simply stating truth with the love of the Lord for your benefit, shows that it is not love that is unreasonable, but that it is unloved, and not taking in the love of God in your heart. Have you come to see what you holding onto yet?

Will you now continue to deflect by claiming such truth is a diatribe or will you glorifying in God in that truth freely given to you? I pray that it will be latter. If you are to make this choice for Christ, share with us the testimony of such faith, that baptism is with or without water in burial and resurrection with Christ. Unlegalized!

If you can not, this is but the false fruit of the heinousness of a denomination (built on physical water), when no denominations exist in the Bible; no demand for physical water, and in falsely trying to mary the evil of calvinism with osas arminian.

My prayers go out to you to leave what you are now engaged in, so that you may walk with Christ as a spiritual Christian and not remain a fleshly and soulish Christian.

If you in reality are not saved, then yet come to the cross as a helpless sinner and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior affirmatively. How man defends his organization, but not Christ at all.

It would appear to me that this person is riding a hobbyhorse of nonsense, and it just doesn't make any sense at all.

For example, this statement makes no sense whatever: "and in falsely trying to mary the evil of calvinism with osas arminian."

There is no question that baptist accept the baptism of the Spirit in the new birth, followed by the baptism in water as a step in obedience and as a witness to their conversion experience.

Arminians do not accept "once saved, always saved" period. I don't know what Mary has to do with any of it!

Cheers, and I do know in Whom I have believed and possibly for more years that you have physically lived,

    Jim

    Jim666,

Why does it not make sense to you that there is no denominations in the Bible?
Why is it so hard for you to understand that baptism is not bound by the physical? It can be with or without water. If you need to legalize water, it shows you don't have true experience.

Why is it so difficult for you to see that you can not take parts from osas arminian (made in God's image with the right to choose in redemption) and calvinism (preselectionism pride) and combine them? If you go to even calvinist sites they freely admit that at least half of arminians believes in once-saved-always-saved, so your imagination is getting the better of you. Such are Satan's wiles.

I am not saying you are unsaved for certain, only that at best you remain carnal and are definitely not a spiritual Christian because you can not see these things that are so obvious.

The RCC believes Mary is sinless. This is untrue, since we are all born into sin, so this is a point that deals with 1+ billion roman catholics. Why is this so confusing to you in the original 8 points?

Notice Terry is just reflecting himself as a nut in his own words. Notice Joseph's bigotry towards houston.

Is there any fruit here of God able to respond by the Holy Spirit? I have not seen it yet?

OK. I am convinced. You are in desperate need of the Lord, and should seek His face immediately.

Thanks Brother Jim for stepping in and trying to understand. [IMG]

Dear Deepertruth, heretofore you have been full of innuendos and accusations. You are saying much but your emotion driven sentences contain very little substance on which I could put my finger. One thing start to come through to me though. It appears that you are against water baptism. If I am incorrect in this assumption, please let me know. But now, if you say that water baptism is non essential in salvation, even if you are surprised, I agree with you 1,000%! Bible example: the thief on the cross. He was never baptized, yet he was together, that same day, with Jesus the Lord in paradise. As I know, there are certain desert regions in Africa as well as other parts of the world that water is a very precious commodity. While we Baptists believe in total immersion, in those regions it is impossible to follow the Biblical mandate. And while we are at it, we do not need to be baptized in order to be saved. For you are saved first and then you get baptized!

Those who teach that baptism is the washing off the sins of your life are not interpreting the Bible correctly. We, Baptists, are getting baptized to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we do it only as a testimony to others that we are already saved and follow Jesus in water baptism. As I believe it, a person must hear the Gospel first and repent, then believe that Christ died for his sins in order that he may be reconciled to God..... for in II Corinthians 5:18 we read: "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation."

If this has been your gripe against me then I need you to realize where I stand in this issue, and like to put the record straight. My observation in your case was that you did not simply place a question before the BB readers and evaluate the data received of what other posters answered, but when they answered you took an issue with their belief system, questioned them and if they were differing with that of yours, you were not hesitant to call them unsaved and you even offered to pray for their salvation. In other words, you attempted to play the role of the accuser of the brethren and no one ought to do that. I can not tell purely on your writings heretofore if you are saved, and neither can you tell the same thing about me. So I am surprised that you make the assumption that I am not saved. If we can not come to a common denominator on Bible grounds, then it is futile to continue any further discussion. However, I'd like to suggest that we learn to agree to disagree. To me the words of the Lord are precious. When I read I John 2:6, where it says, "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked," it ought to stir me up to do the walk in deed - not only in words. But if quoting the Bible verses, to show the extent of my faith and belief, is compared by you to the act of Satan, who was also quoting Scripture, then I do not think we can walk together on common ground. Amos 3:3 comes to mind: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

So, I am asking again. What will it be? Are you going to rail upon the brethren or contribute something noble and noteworthy to the outreach ministry of the BB readership? You have to remember now, the BB is catering to believers and to seekers in well over 88 countries. I pray that you may think about what I have written and will ponder them in your heart. Have a good night, and the good Lord bless you as only He can! [IMG]

B.J.H.....PLEASE don't close this thread...even though DT isn't a baptist(and shouldn't be posting in this part of the forum)He most definitely IS an interesting specimen. This might just prove to be an interesting case study in how the god of this world confuses people....and this poor fellow needs our compassion and a lot of tender hearted help.

But if the BB bends the rule for this person, it is unfair to the other non-Baptists who follow the rule. I don't think that's right.

Baptists can post on the non-Baptist part, so those who want to help Deeper Truth can go to another thread, like the Other Christian Denominations thread where there are many "interesting specimens" for you. That way, it's being fair to the posters who obey the rules and yet it's also an option for those who want to help DT.

In fact, if you think DT is so interesting, you ought to jump down right now to Other Christian Denominations where you will have a ball talking to SDA followers, a Oneness follower, universalists, Roman Catholics, and a variety of people! :D
