Since rating threads seem to be all the rage, rate Sean Spicer's 1st press briefing.

Angry man goes on two-pronged rant on trivial matters to draw attention away from the Women's March on Washington.

If this is his normal style, I predict that Spicer will be the subject of an SNL skit within two months.

 

I was trying to think of who it was that Spicer reminded me of. It was Mr. Strickland.

 

What a bone head.

 

He's going to be a very tired man.

Spicer's speech was justifiably angry being it was an answer to the mainstream media's juvenile and irresponsible stereotypical focuses rather than them focusing on the important issues facing our nation.

That said, I will say Spicer's "angry voice" doesn't quite do it for me. It sounds forced like he's trying too hard. He needs to work on putting a natural growl in that voice with a little deeper tone, grit the teeth a bit and get the glare in the eyes right.

Spicer needs more presence where he can assert a bit more authority. Something like this:

 

Clint Eastwood as Press Secretary... that could be interesting.

 

Mr. Spicer this is not nazi Germany or communist Russia.
