Now I am wondering what all those conservatives who screamed Constitution, Constitution, Constitution the last 8 years will use as excuses for an obvious violation of the Constitution by Trump?
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    From: http://fortune.com/2017/01/23/donald-trump-ethics-lawsuit/

On his third full day in office, President Donald Trump faces a lawsuit accusing him of violating the U.S. Constitution.

A group comprised of former White House ethics lawyers and constitutional law scholars are alleging that Trump has contravened the Emoluments Clause by accepting payments to his many businesses from foreign governments, reports the New York Times.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, the group behind the legal effort, seeks to block Trump from receiving such payments to his businesses without Congressional approval.

The group fears that Trump's sprawling global empire of hotels and other businesses and his functioning as U.S. President could become entangled otherwise. According to CNN, Trump is linked to over 500 entities with businesses in at least 25 countries outside the U.S.

"We did not want to get to this point," executive director Noah Bookbinder said in a press release. "It was our hope that President Trump would take the necessary steps to avoid violating the Constitution before he took office."

I hate to say it but I don't think anything will come of it. Too many people were bought and paid for in the administration. He is going to be able to get away with anything and everything he wants because he also knows where the bodies are buried. I do not have a lot of hope for the future with this man in office.

CREW??? The Soros front group that tried to get FOX off the air due to their perception that they "lacked good moral character"?

Their latest gambit with this is ridiculous as well - if a foreign official rents a room at Trump Towers, they think it's a violation of the emolument clause? He just became POTUS Friday, Georgie is throwing good money after bad.

Um, you could be referring to other former presidents or candidates.

Of course from what you have said we all know who you mean.

    Don't we?

Clever - quoting cliches and using Alinsky tactics.
But it's old school (and I think you know that) and the history of this last year only proves one thing.
The more you dump refuse on Trump the more his popularity grows in spite of the "rigged" polls.

Besides, it's not very often we get a righteous man for president.

Trump admitted to his sins even before he was caught and there was no doubt.

Lambast him for his evil deeds if you feel that need from a sense of patriotism (or whatever you call your motivation).

But please pray for him as well and for our nation.

What have you got to lose.

I never said I didn't...however, your naming off names I don't even recognize bothers me very much. I have said that IF he tells the truth, IF he succeeds in rebuilding and unifying our country I will admit that I was wrong. Until then...no. I call it the way I see it. What I see is a wanna-be megalomaniac who is not in the White House for the right reasons at all.

Again...if he is truly a "Christian" then I would see more than "alternative facts".

You may not recognize the name which bothers you but the nuance is there.

Saul Alinsky was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing. His most renown book: Rules for Radicals.

Whether Trump is a Christian I don't know. How many of our past presidents I don't know either. Jimmy Carter made a public profession of such.

To be sure, it takes an abundance of ego energy for any individual to rise above the masses to the presidency.

Thank you and please continue praying for him.

    How about Trump's alternative facts?.

Are you seriously suggesting that Trump is a righteous man?

You bet, I am praying that he will see the light and change his ways.

I am also praying that our contry survive him and the disasters he will bring about.

You mean change his ways and spit on the Word of God, and say homosexuality is normal, that God did not know David and Jeremiah when they were in the womb, that we are not to pay back 'Babylon' double for her deeds (Revelation 18:6),...?

I mean to change his ways.

    • To stop telling lies
    • To stop lieing through alternative facts
    • To be faithful to his wife
    • To let God lead him and not mammon.
    • To treat others as he wants them to treat him
    • To do good for all people and not do good for only the rich and for corporations
    • To control his temper
    • To turn the other cheek
    • To go the extra mile
Just a short list of starters you realize?

I can understand the frustration of the women in the picture above. For too long, religion has been used as a hammer instead of the shepherd's crook it should be. Rather than meeting them with the derision you've shown, how about meeting them with love and showing them the REAL Jesus who wants to love them? I was once one of those angry women too...a woman who was told to go home and submit and maybe my husband wouldn't beat me and the children if I "kept my mouth shut, controlled the children and did what I was told". Then I met the REAL Lord and savior and lover of my soul.

I wish I had been there...to sit and talk to these women and get to the root of their pain...that would cause them to make a sign like that.

Has he been clothed in the righteousness of Christ, I know not.

In the actions of his life, in his use of words, in his attitude toward others, do you see any indication of his being clothed in the righteousness of Christ?

I think this is going to be a constant thing. There are far too many who would rather see our Presidency fail, and our nation to fail, regardless of the reprocussions. Patriotism and national interest was replaced with political ideologies long ago.

Only Rush and conservatives have ever said they want a president to fail.

Is that the only requirement to be righteous?

    What about;
    • truthfulness,
    • honesty,
    • treating others as he wants to be treated,
    • turning the other cheek,
    • going the extra mile,
    • does he seem to love God or mammon,
    • does he surround himself with righteous people,
    • does he often sacrifice himself for the good of others
What are his signs of righteousness.
