Featured Trump just got his first approval rating as president — and it's not good

There was a press bias in favor of Clinton and Obama, and they , too, are pathological liars. Documented and proven liars. Time after time after time.

 

I can agree to an extent, but can only go so far with the "think about their feelings" angle. This is not sports. This is not about respecting the feelings of the losing team. This is real life and real life and death policies we're fighting for. The Church needs to get back to standing up for moral policies and calling out evil policies and yes, even evil voting practices. I'm not sure there's a way to do that without hurting feelings.

When the country went astray and followed after Obama, I was concerned with God's grievances, not mine. When the country embraced racism and slavery, the Church stood up and offended many. I think it's par for the course.

That said, I'd agree to seek peace as much as possible.

 

Not the same. I hated what Obama was doing as president.

The Trump haters here hate Trump for who he is, not what he has done as president.

 

I don't know about that carpro, I have adult family members who, in my estimation, are sincere in their belief that Obama was good for America but Trump is too far right (really) and fear that nationalism will turn to "fascism" under his watch.

OK, to some it's irrational but to others the fear is real because of the blathering of the marxist progressive liberal press.

If you're a scientist, the fear is real. (funding, etc.)

If you want to address climate change, the fear is real. (restrictions on research, either indirectly or directly)

If you support Obamacare (or at least want to preserve most of it), the fear is real.

Other issues could be listed.

 

In a strange but perhaps providential way we ALL have a national concern.

Those on the right: The uncontrolled veer to the left leading to: Totalitarian Marxism.
Those on the left: The uncontrolled veer to the right leading to: Totalitarian Fascism.

Why not close ranks for the straight and narrow leading to: Totalitarian Freedom and Liberty?

No and I am not saying Obama was a communist either.

However had the founding fathers not built checks and balances as well as the separation of powers into our governmental system the trending of right or left movements to their extremes would have been a definite possibility then and today.

To me Obama's left leanings crossed the line of my acceptability. However I am also concerned about Trump's nationalism also crossing the line. But because of the elements above I was not and am not overly concerned.

Just to let you know however I have no hope that any nation except that nation Daniel spoke of can or will ever solve our basic and most serious problem: The sin nature of the adamic race.
