On Thursday, July 27, 2017, the International Business Times, via Yahoo, posted an article saying recent DNA research had proven the Bible wrong, that the israelis didn't destroy all the Canaanites in the days of Joshua & soon afterwards, that DNA testing proves the main part of the population of Lebanon is descended from them.

    I have news for them!

The Bible does NOT say the Israelis destroyed ALL the Canaanites!

Joshua 16:10 - And they did not drive out the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day and have become forced laborers.

Joshua 17:12 - But the sons of Manasseh could not take possession of these cities, because the Canaanites persisted in living in that land.

And we see from Judges 1:27 to the end of the chapter there were many more Canaanites who were not killed nor driven outta the land. So we can easily see the falseness of much of the info from that article! Indeed , the PROPER conclusion from the scientific part of the info AFFIRMS the Bible, as nowhere does it say those temaining Canaanites were destroyed or driven out by the Israelis.

Once again, science proves Scripture correct! That's why I find it hard to believe the lack of Christians among scientists![/COLOR]
