Ezekiel 30:13 (KJV) Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause [their] images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel said that Egypt would be ruled by foreigners forever and that the Egyptian idols would be destroyed.

So it is today that if you go to Egypt, you look at the ruins of the temples and idols and there is no Pharaoh or Egyptian prince but an Arab Muslim ruling Egypt.

After Ezekiel's prophecy, the Persians invaded in 525 BC. However, the completed destruction of Egyptian self-government came with Alexander the Great in 332 BC. After that came the cold-blooded rule of the Romans. Finally, when the Arabs swept the area, Islamic rule, the harshest of all was imposed upon Egypt and that endures to this day.

So now Egypt is a place with no freedom and no prosperity and no hope of another Egyptian prince who might be a bit less cruel than Islam.

The only hope in Egypt is Christianity but Islam has caused a diaspora of the Coptic Church and repressed the ones trapped in Egypt.
