    As my wife said, always a Republican, including a stint as a State Representative in Connecicut.

    Well, I am well, Republican, if my dad heard me hesitate like that he would get mad, my dad is a republican through and through. Our family is all about politics, I mean my dad's family. My grandfather party switched about 20 years before he died, he had been democrat during Truman, up until Johnson was president, he considered Johnson one of the worst presidents ever, and after Johnson he switched parties. Now, we are all Republican except my aunt Susan.

    I'm the first one in my family going back 3 generations to vote Repubican. I started out as a Democrat, but after "I went all the way with LBJ in 1964, I switched parties.

    If the Democrats could field a candidate with any "intestinal fortitude", who would take a stand on something meaningful, didnt want to raise our taxes, would realise that labor unions arent the end all to the workers paradise, er....wait a minute..... maybe thats what I mean by Republicans being the lesser of 2 evils.

    I am registered republican, but leaning VERY much toward Libertarian.
