So if leaven is generally associated with sin, I Corinthians 5:1-8; why does Jesus use it to picture the Kingdom of Heaven, Matthew 13:33 and/or Kingdom of God, Luke 13:20-21? Just like to hear others thoughts as I honestly am not sure.

33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

The parable is in the negative, and prophetic of the 'falling away' due to the Judaizers that was to happen within the church during that generation.

12 Then understood they that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Mt 16
