Joe, you along with all the others, have fallen victim to L.E.F.T. the Liberal Education For Termonology. You see, liberals want you to use certian terms as so that action will not sound bad. (ie I never use the word "gay" only "homosexual")

When I say, I am Pro-Choice, I am stating that only the (pre-born) baby has the right to choose abortion. And I never met a fetus who has told me he chooses abortion!

In my eariler post, I stated that I would bring up something that would determine how pro-life you really are. I have stated a post called LIZA (small mistake - should have read LISA)
    Click L. I. S. A. and cast your vote!

By the way Joe, no statement is idiotic if asked in sincere honesty. Let me give you an example from the opposite view. Here in Syracuse, there is a talk-show host who is 100% pro-life and he extends that to the death penalty. He is 100% against the death penalty, that includes the murderers of OK City and the 11 Sep. I disagree with his death penalty stand, but I do respect his view, beacuse he is totally consistent with his views (as opposed to someone who is anti-death penalty yet will say ... but for 11 Sep might be different...)

So Joe and all the others who reamed me, have you voted (properly) in my LISA poll yet?

    Saltcitybaptist,

I don't think any of us can figure out where you are were or are comming from.

"When I say, I am Pro-Choice, I am stating that only the (pre-born) baby has the right to choose abortion. And I never met a fetus who has told me he chooses abortion!"--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apparently you are saying you are pro-suicide!

Great point!!! Ya' know who else was a prime candidate for abortion, due to belonging to a young girl who was not yet married?

So was I since I was one of the babies born with congenital rubella...and the only thing wrong with me was a heart defect! I had heart surgery at one month old, and I am fine now. [IMG] One doctor talked to my mother about getting one (even though it was illegal at the time in 1969) but she said "No" since she's a Christian. [IMG] I am very thankful for that, and I am very much against abortion for these reasons. [IMG]
When I was 2 years old, I lost a lot of my hearing from meningitis (hence the HOH in my screenname).
</font>[/QUOTE]By the way, the difference is that my mother is married to my father at the time (and still is today -- since 1962!) [IMG] But the result is still the same -- I am thankful that Mom wants to keep me dispite of what the substitute doctor said to her. [IMG]

Anybody know how many children have died this way since Roe V. Wade? I think we are approaching 50,000,000. That makes Hitler look like a good guy.

Check out silentscream.org for the latest numbers both in the US and Internationally. It tears at my heart. There is also a clip on an actual abortion in which I guess you can actually see the child trying to get away from the suction tube (I can't bring myself to watch it as just seeing the counter add up brings tears to my eyes).

Funny (in a sick way), my Pastor brought up an interesting point about this; if you hunt and kill a pregnant cow, the same people that will say abortion is ok, will charge you with two counts of potching.

Interesting how a moose or a deer is a moose or a deer in the womb, but in a human's womb it's a fetus or zygote!

This is the point to which Satan has perverted this world!

I'm not an unborn baby but I would definitely want my Mom to give me a chance at life.

    Yes Lorrie,

Sadly, an eagle "embryo" has more of a right to life and protection than a human baby in the womb.

Just to put 50,000,000 abortions into perspective. That is rughly 9.5 times the population of North Carolina.

What I don't understand is how, whenever some new in-womb medical procedure comes along and is able to save a baby from being stillborn, it is trumpted by the press as a "medical miracle", yet the same press thinks all we're dealing with is a glob of tissue.

quidam65, that is because the truth is the truth and it even squishes out of those who are determined to ignore the truth, resultin in contradictions like giving a murderer two counts of murder for his victim and her child in the womb. This phenomenon seems to be saying that it is wrong to kill a child in the womb unless the mother says it is ok. But why would it ever be ok for a mom to decide lif or death for her children. Andrea Yates is just the end result of such a philosiphy.

50 million is also 2.5 times the population of Australia.

Incidentally, the Silent Scream website gives the number of abortions worldwide since Roe v Wade as 1.39 Billion. roughly the population of China ...

I think the 50,000,000 is just American abortions.

I, the unborn child, hate the scissors and hooks of Doctors and try every effort to avoid them.

One thing that we should keep in mind is that man and woman are equally responsible for abortion

There are a couple songs i have heard in the past about abortions

    Please Mommy Please
    Silent Cry

Both will make the true christian weep at the senseless killings of innocent life.
