I see no substance here. Just a cornered lemming looking for escape.

How do you extract faith being given to all men at their creation from Psalm 19?
    Psalm 19:1-6
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

We can look at Romans 10 and see that it is God who determines who hears and who doesn't hear.

    Romans 10:17-20
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for “Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says, “I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a foolish nation I will make you angry.” Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

The means of how God shows himself in salvation is presented in Ephesians 2.
    Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

Hebrews 11:6, ". . . But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. . . ."

Romans 10:17-18, ". . . So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. . . ."

    John 17"17, ". . . Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. . . ."

Someone described quickening as “..God helps us…. and we take it from there.”

I don’t think saying God “helps us” by quickening is an adequate description of the supernatural work of Holy Spirit to free someone from the enslavement of sin that enables them to respond to the gospel with God given faith.

    peace to you

Let's look at Hebrews 12, which explains where faith comes from.

    Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

    The question is this:
Did Jesus author (found) faith for all humans at their conception, yet only perfect the faith of some...or did Jesus author faith at the moment he graciously saved a person so that they would believe, which then carries over to perfecting this faith in the believer?

Notice Peter tells us that the cause of our faith is Jesus.

    1 Peter 1:3-5,8-9,20-21
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

    You're so cliche:

"What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid."

..about the most pertinent signature/quote I've ever seen on the BB, by Aaron himself. :)

All the whining of the non-Cals confirm the truth of Romans 9, and they're too self-unaware to see it.

Your failed theology is what causes that but you ignore the obvious problem as is usual for many of the calvinists on here.

The obvious problem is the non-Cals refusal to accept the Potter's right.

Your snip my saying that Aaron is being immature but yet you do not snip the comments he makes. Double standard here. Or is it just that you do not want his immaturity pointed out?

The obvious problem is that calvinists refuse to see or just ignore the logical outcome of their theology. You live in a echo chamber of self delusion.

The logical outcome of the non-Cals carnal reasoning is a rejection of the Potter's right along with a deranged obsession with those that do accept it.

Same old response, you just do not understand calvinism:Cry.
The problem for the calvinist is that we do understand and we see the errors in that theology and that is why we reject it. Or as you would say God has determined that we see the errors and thus we reject it.

    Either man has the God given ability to make real choices or man can not make any real choices at all. {speaking of salvation here}
If man can make real choices then if he is condemned he is responsible, if man can not make those real choices then if he is condemned God is responsible.

That is the glaring problem that the calvinist ignores.

Two pages and counting. Calvinists engage in hurling false charges and calling people names.

What does the Greek word translated by the KJV as "quickening" mean? The Greek word (zōopoieō) appears about 12 times in the NT. The meaning is to be "made alive" and has nothing whatsoever to do with enabling a person to come to faith in Christ. Thus this thread presents Calvinism's attempt to redefine a word according to its false doctrine.

If you study all eleven verses where our word appears the meaning is the same, God gives life to whom He wishes. Enabling someone to come to faith is never found in any verse.

Are people who are dead in their trespasses and sins made alive without being saved by grace?
