AOL Service

When I had my reg. computer and used aol, I thought it was pretty decent. I liked the free space and the extra services they offered.
I cancelled the service but reserved the account until I could get a computer worthy of having to pay the cost of online service monthly, and then the billing problems with them started!
I tried to resolve them through customer service and got nowhere. There were double billings, overbillings, and mysterious billings. Finally in frustration I called in today to cancel anything and everything to do with them as nobody seemed willing to listen.
I got a supervisor and was suprised at the reaction. In the end, he took care of the billing problem and did what amounted to paying the bank fees I incurred because of the errors, along with free service for a few months when I get their full service back again and a couple other nice things along that line.
I was suprised that I got no runaround and over that was treated more than fairly.
My original plan was to cancel the service, tell everyone who would listen that I recommend anyone BUT AOL, and possibly set up a website just for people who had horrible aol experiences, blame them for failing public schools, then write to president Bush and ask him to raise taxes only on them. LOL
Guess I have to be nice now and say that apart from this problem aol has been great and even with this problem, they took care of it so I have less than nothing to complain about.
