Hebrews 6:19-20 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

You say, “Will I be safe? Will I really be saved?” All this is happening to me, or this is the way I am. Well, the truth is, it doesn’t depend on us at all, it’s whether or not the anchor holds. We never have peace until we are assured of our salvation, and we’re never assured of our salvation until we’re assured of our Savior. What did He do? He finished salvation. He established righteousness before God on our behalf. It’s His work, it’s His person, all of the things about Him that secure, that make up this anchor. If the anchor holds, we’re safe. Because all these promises are yea and amen in Christ. For all the promises of God are in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
