    Seeking Christ
    Luke 12.48
    48. "And from everyone who has been given much shall much be required, and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more." (Matthew 13.12, 25.29) (Mark 4.25) (Luke 8.18, 12.48, 19.26).

This parable of Christ relates to a master and his servants, under which Jesus Christ meant Himself and His followers.

Indeed, from such people as prophets of GOD the Lord required a lot. We know very well how GOD treat those who fulfill His desire and will and those who does not.

GOD gave to prophets difficult task to teach and to prophesy under extremely difficult conditions and constantly under fret of death. Not every prophet of GOD fulfills his mission and will of GOD, and because of it some of them lost their life.

Responsibilities of prophets were enormous and heavy, and not every prophet was able to conduct miracles and signs of High Power, but to every one of them had been given a certain load of responsibilities and obligations that they must fulfill.

Practically all of them suffered a lot and most likely ended their days in misery and pain, but their souls inherited Kingdom of GOD and now they are resting on their couches.

    Isaiah 57.1-2
    1. "The righteous perish and no one takes it to heart, the devout (sincere) are taken away while no one understands. The righteous are taken away from calamity,
    2. and they enter into peace, those who walks uprightly will rest on their couches."

    ~ 1-2. (Ecclesiastes 7.15, 8.14) (Isaiah 57.1-2) (Daniel 11.33-35).

But I noticed another kind of people who are not sent by GOD to preach, to teach, or to prophesy. It seems to me that they willingly took on themselves that load of leadership and authority, but do not teach and do not live according to the Word of GOD.

How will GOD deal with such people whom He did not sent and did not obligate with anything they do? Perhaps He will also require from them as much as they took on themselves and will judge them according to their own teachings and deeds.

So, the more they took on themselves the more will be required from them by GOD.

Probably for this reason James made excellent statement:

    James 3.1-2
1."Not many of you should become teachers my brothers and sisters, you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness."
