    Theology.
    Trinity.
    Systematic Theology.

And other terminologies used to describe what is understood or believed.

Ultimately it is problems of language.

Every argument, while not really over words, are over ideas which requires words, and so terminologies which we might want to disallow.

Not only ideas, but we are mortals attempting to use finite language to describe immortal, infinite things. There's always going to be large gaps.

God knowingly gave His written words finite humans.

At issue is our disagreements and our problems of language. And what God chose to do as recorded Genesis 11.

Quibbling over words: to evade the point of an argument by caviling about words

Note when someone address "how" something is expressed, they are changing the subject from what was said.

Yes, there are many problems regarding language, expressing ideas and understanding ideas. Certain terminology may be a help or a hindrance.

However, it seems that mindsets play a necessarily very large role in all of it. No one comes to a discussion without having been trained to think certain ways, ways which may conflict with others’.

Are you saying reason can be enslaved to passion, that we can behave as if we believe "my doctrine right or wrong!"

Not quite, but there's certainly some of that going on too—looks like I’ve said it now.

There is also reason being enslaved to tradition, which would be closer to my point, in part.

Everyone must start with some sort of tradition involving language, culture, worldview. Exposure to other languages, cultures, worldviews gives something with which to compare.
