Everyone Christ died for/shed His Blood for are made priest unto God Rev 1:5-6

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

    6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I believe John may be connecting this to Revelation 20:4.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

By Christ's atoning sacrifice we are made royalty. We reign with Christ. Ephesians 2 says we are seated in the heavenlies with Christ. The reign of Christ is now, with all of those who have died. The first chapter of Revelation is connected to the latter chapters.

    Life from Christ !

One of the effects of the death of Christ for everyone He died for, is that through it, they He died for should live, both spiritually and eternally 1 Jn 4:9-10

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

The fact is, those whom Christ was sent to be the propitiation for their sins [1 Jn 2:1-2] it was so that they should live through[on account of] Him.

If one has their sins propitiated by Christ, they shall live because of it. Yet not all shall live, so Christ could not have been the propitiation for their sins ! 75

I dont think you understand. Im witnessing about the effect of Christs death, it makes them He died for a kingdom of priest unto God NOW in this life Rev 5:9-10

    9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

So His Death ensures a spiritual conversion in this life.

So Christ through His Propitiating death gives life to the world, not a possibility of life Jn 6:33

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world The world of the Elect or of His Sheep.

    My post,
Was my comment on your post 7.

We have an opposite understanding of John 6:33 as we do of 1 John 2:2.

Those Christ died for, and rose again in behalf of are never going to be condemned, and by His death alone for them it accomplished their Justification before God ! Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The word justification here dikaiósis means:

the act of pronouncing righteous, acquittal
Usage: acquittal, justifying, justification, a process of absolution.

Its the very same word Paul used in Rom 5:18 for Justification of life, so Christ death for the elect resulted in their Justification of life, which the Resurrection of Christ attests to. 75

Like I said, I addressed that in post 7, but I will add, world in these scriptures means the nations or gentiles in opposition to just the nation of israel, not all individuals as it is according to them that corrupt the word of God.

Can you, with simplicity, show, κόσμος cannot mean humanity in general, with Scripture? John 3:16, John 6:33, and 1 John 2:2, etc.

Christs Death or Offering accomplished the Eternal Perfection of all those He died for Heb 10:14

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Christs Death or Offering accomplished the Sanctification of all those He died for Heb 10:10

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

    Heb 13:12

12 Wherefore Jesus also, that [so that] he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

His Death accomplished their sanctification unto God before they are born. Just like it did Jerimiah Jer 1:5

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Christs death accomplishment is that those He died for will live unto righteousness, because His death for them causes them to be dead to sin 1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

How do they live unto righteousness ? By Faith in Christ who is their righteousness Rom 1:16-17; 1 Cor 1:30

Christs death accomplishment is that those He died for He reconciled them to God ! Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.75

It made us free from sin !

    Rom 6:16-22

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

The redemptive death of Christ accomplished for all whom Christ died, a being set free from sin, and being made a servant to God.

This simply means that the redemptive death of Christ sets us free from the prison if unbelief and causes us to become believers in Christ. When we become believers, we become true servants to God.

Jesus by His redemptive death sets us free from unbelief or being servants of sin Jn 8:36

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed

The word free here is the same word for free in Rom 6:22 Paul uses. So Paul and Jesus are in agreement here. Its the word eleutheroō and means:

    1. set at liberty: from the dominion of sin, to be set free from another's control

This is needed because by nature all are under the control if the devil as per Eph 2:2-3

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation[manner of life] in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

That was our manner of life or conversation by nature, no exceptions. But as Peter writes, Christs Blood redeemed us from this vain conversation or manner of life 1 Pet 1:18-19

    18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Were not for the redeeming death of Christ, no one would be set free from sin/unbelief and become a believer, or a servant of God, so God in Christ must have the Glory for becoming a believer, and not the so called freewill or decision of man, who by nature is a spiritually dead, satanic controlled slave to sin and unbelief. 77

Atonement was effectually performed by Christ on the tree Jn 19:30

30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

    Heb 9:12

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

And its effectually activated by Christ on His Throne Heb 7:25

5 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    John 17:2

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Not only was the death of Christ the accomplishment of Gods purpose to bring the elect Holy and Unblamable before God , in His sight,[Col 1:21-22] but it was also the intended purpose of their election in Christ before the foundation of the world Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

So Gods election and Christs redemptive death are in perfect agreement !
