    Seeking Christ
    Acts 10. 38
    38. "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how GOD anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good, and healing (see also: Diseases) all who were oppressed by the Devil, GOD was with Him."

    MOD NOTE: Paragraph teaching that Jesus is a "created being" is deleted.

    The word "anointed" with the Holy Spirit, here most likely applies to a Human Jesus Who from His early childhood must be Holy in order to fulfill His mission.

    ~ "and how He went about doing good, and healing ..." Of course, what kind of GOD Jesus would be if He would not do more good beside healing and resurrection of the dead? As it written about Him, all His good deeds he had done in His lifetime, there is not enough books of the world to contain (John 21.24-25), figuratively speaking.

    So, this means that we know very little, a very small fraction of the good deeds of Christ during His short lifetime, but no matter how little we know about Him, the point here is this, that in order to be true believer and true follower of Christ, and legitimately call yourself as Christian, we should also take example of Christ to do good deeds as He did Himself, otherwise what kind of Christians we would be without good deeds?

    Some "Christians" argue that good deeds not needed but only faith, Jesus on the other hand had both, and proved that faith without deeds is dead.

    ~ "all who were oppressed by the Devil," No question about that Devil can inflict horrible diseases and suffering, just like he did to Job, and even take life if GOD permit, but GOD also can do the same things and He does it constantly by punishing the wicked and rewarding the godly.

    "Oppressed by the Devil," may also include mental and spiritual conditions, such as insanity, wickedness, deceit, betrays, lies, and similar others. These mental and spiritual conditions usually come from the Devil, because he is the father of lies and deceit (John 8.44). No doctor can help, but we have only One Helper and the Healer from mental and spiritual illnesses, our Lord Jesus Christ, and on Him we must put our faith and hope.

    Acts 10.40
    40. GOD raised Him up on *the third day (see also: Numbers), and granted that He should become visible,

    ~ 40. "Three days and Three nights." (Hosea 6.2) (Jonah 1.17) (Matthew 12.38-40, 16.21, 17.22-23, 20.18-19, 26.61, 27.40) (Mark 8.31, 9.31, 10.33-34, 14.58, 15.29) (Luke 9.22, 18.32-33, 24.5-7.46) (John 2.18-22, 11.17.39) (Acts 10.40) (1Corinthians 15.4) (Revelation 11.9.11).

    ~ Besides the facts that GOD Father gave Jesus all his powers and everything that He had created through His Son, Jesus still relies on the power of His Father Who Personally resurrected Him from the dead, Who Personally continue granted Jesus other extraordinary powers to do extraordinary things.

    In this particular case GOD Father granted Jesus to became visible to certain men. The Father GOD not only can make Jesus visible to ordinary men, but also to a certain selected group of people of His choice, and not to all.

    Sometimes people can hear GOD but see no one (Acts 9.3-7), because only selected number of people can hear and can see the appearance of GOD and angels, but for others it is not permitted. The same thing applied and to resurrection of the dead when Jesus and His Apostles after Him before resurrection of a person drove everyone from the house or allowed only few to remain to see the great miracle of the Lord's power.

    It is also showing worthiness of the people and distinction between those who are worthy to see great deeds of GOD or hear His voice, and between those who are not deserved to see GOD' S power or to hear His voice.

    It is blasphemous to say Jesus was created by God the Father.

    According to John 1:1-3, ". . . and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." The Word does all the Father's works for God being God.

    The Lord God of the Universe, Jesus Christ is God by Nature;
    having the Whole Essence and Nature of God in Him.

    The Deity of Christ may be proved; or, that He is a Divine Person,
    Truly and Properly God. Not a made or created God.

    He was made flesh, and made of a woman; but not made God;
    for then "He must have made Himself", which is absurd;
    since:

    without Him was not anything made that was made;
    but all things were made by Him

    (John 1:3).

    Adapted from The Body of Divinity by John Gill.

    The Distinct Personality, and Deity of GOD the SON, JESUS CHRIST.

    The Deity of GOD the SON, Jesus Christ will appear,

    1. First, From the Names which are given to Him.

    Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who is God
    has the same Glorious Names the Most High God has;
    as Ejeh, I AM that I AM, (Ex. 3:14)

    to which our Lord refers, and takes to Himself, (John 8:58)

    and Jehovah, which is incommunicable to a creature,
    and peculiar to the Most High, (Ps. 83:18)

    “This is the Name wherewith He shall be called by her,
    the Lord our Righteousness".

    It may be observed also, that in some places of scripture,
    Jesus Christ is absolutely called God; as in Psalm 45:6,

    “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever”;
    where He is distinguished from God His Father, (Ps. 45:7)

    and the words are expressly applied to Him as the Son of God

    “But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God”, &c.
    (Heb. 1:8).

    Yeah, Christ calls Himself God; as He well might,
    since He is in the form of God, and therefore thought it no robbery
    to be Equal to Him; saying,

    “Look unto Me, and be ye saved,
    all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else;
    I have swore by Myself”
    , &c.
    (Isa. 45:22, 23)

    which last words, in connection with the other, are,
    by the apostle Paul, applied to Jesus Christ
    (Rom. 14:10-12).

    The evangelist John, says of the Word, or Son of God,
    Who was made flesh, and dwelt among men,
    and so cannot be understood of any but Christ,
    that:

    “the Word was God”
    ,
    (John 1:1, 14)

    and the same inspired writer observes,

    “Hereby perceive we the love of God,
    because He laid down His life for us”
    ,
    (1 John 3:16)

    from whence it follows, that He that laid down His life for men,
    which can only be said of Jesus Christ,
    and wherein His love to them appeared, must be God.

    2. Secondly, The Deity of Christ may be proved
    from the Divine Perfections, He is possessed of;

    “for in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead”,
    (Col. 2:9)

    not one Perfection of the Divine Nature excepted;

    or otherwise, it could not be said,
    that All the Fulness of Deity was in Him.

    God is Necessarily and Self-existent, and Independent on any;
    such is Christ, He is αυτοθεος, God of Himself:
    as Man and Mediator He has a Life Given Him for Himself, and others,
    and Lives by the Father;

    but, as God, He owes His Life and being to none;
    it is not derived from another;

    He is Overall, God blessed forever.

    Eternity is a Perfection of God;

    God is from Everlasting to Everlasting;

    Christ was not only before Abraham, but before Adam;
    and before any creature was in being;

    for He is the αρχη, the Beginning,
    the First Cause of the Creation of God, (Rev. 3:14)
    the First Born, or rather, the First Parent
    and Producer of every creature;

    as the word πρωτοτοκος, by the removal of the accent,
    may be rendered which best agrees
    with the apostle’s reasoning in the next verse;

    where all things are said to be created by Him;
    and therefore, as the apostle argues,
    He must be before all things, (Col. 1:15-17) as Mediator,

    He was set up from Everlasting;
    His goings forth in the Covenant were of Old;

    the Elect were chosen in Him before the Foundation of the world;
    and had Grace given them in Him, before that began;

    all which suppose His Eternal Existence.

    Hence He is called Alpha and Omega
    the First and the Last,
    the Beginning and the Ending;

    Which is, and Was, and Is to Come.

    3. Thirdly, The truth of Christ’s Proper Divinity

    may be proved from the works done by Him;
    which are the same that are done by the Father &

    4. Fourthly, As a further proof of the Deity of Christ,
    the Worship given Him both by angels and men.

    3. Thirdly, The truth of Christ’s Proper Divinity
    may be proved from the works done by Him;
    which are the same that are done by the Father
    ;

    and in which He is a Coefficient Cause with Him;
    and are done by Him ομοιως, in like manner as by the Father,
    (John 5:17, 19)

    such as the Creation of all things out of nothing;
    of the whole world and all things in it, visible or invisible,
    (John 1:2, 3; Col. 1:16)

    the making of the worlds, the Heaven, and the Earth,
    are particularly ascribed to the Word and Son of God;

    and He that built all things is God, (Heb. 11:3, 1:10, 3:4)

    the Work of Providence, the Government of the World,
    and the disposing of all things in it,
    Christ is jointly concerned in with the Father;

    “My Father worketh hitherto; and I work”,

    that is, with Him (John 5:17).

    Christ upholds all things by His Power;
    bears up the pillars of the earth;
    and by Him do all things consist, (Heb. 1:3; Col. 1:17)

    the Miracles Christ wrought on earth in human nature,
    as they were proofs of His Messiahship, so of His Deity;

    such as curing the lame, the blind, and dumb, and deaf,
    and even raising the dead, by a Word Spoken;
    which were what none but God could do:

    these prove that the Father was in Him, and He in the Father,
    (Matthew 11:4, 5; John 10:37, 38).

    If JESUS CHRIST was not the Mighty God,
    He could never have been able to have Wrought
    and Obtained the Redemption and Salvation of His people,
    by His Own Arm: what gave Virtue and Efficacy to His blood,
    to purchase His people, and cleanse them from their sins,
    is His Deity; and so to His Righteousness,
    to make it a Justifying One before God;

    and to His Sacrifice, to make it Expiatory of sin,
    and Acceptable to God.

    The Acts of Forgiveness of sin, and Justification from it,
    are peculiar to God.

    None can forgive sin but God; yet Christ has done it,
    and therefore must be God, (Mark 2:7, 9, 10)

    it is God that justifies men from sin,
    and acquits them from condemnation, (Rom. 8:1, 33)

    and so does Christ (Isa. 53:11).

    The Resurrection of the dead is a Work of Almighty Power,
    and which none but God can do;

    and yet Christ has Raised Himself from the dead,
    and thereby is declared to be the Son of God with Power;
    that is, Truly and Properly God, (Rom. 1:4; John 2:19, 10:18)

    and He will raise all the dead at the last day,
    by His Mighty Power;

    and at His all commanding voice,
    the dead will come forth out of their graves,
    wherein they have lain, (John 5:28, 29; 1 Thess. 4:16, 17).

    The Judgment of the world is committed to Him;

    “The Father judgeth no man,
    but hath committed all judgment to the Son”
    (John 5:22).

    Now if He was not God Omnipotent
    and Omniscient He would never be able to do what He will do;

    gather all nations before Him, separate them,
    and place them some on His Right Hand, and some on His Left;

    bring to light the counsels of the heart, and judge the secrets of it,
    and give to every man for the deeds done in the body,
    whether good or evil; pronounce the several decisive sentences,
    and put them in execution,
    (Matthew 25:31-46; Rom. 2:16; 1 Cor. 4:5; 2 Cor. 5:10).

    4. Fourthly, As a further proof of the Deity of Christ,
    the Worship given Him both by angels and men

    may be observed;

    for when He, God's Firstborn, was brought into the world, He said,

    "Let all the angels of God Worship Him",
    (Hebrews 1:6)

    Yes, and our Lord JESUS said that "out of the heart proceed false witness, blasphemies, evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts; Matthew 15:19

    If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Rom.8:9

    Matthew 25:41 and 46

    41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his messengers: (See Revelation 12:7-12)
    46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

    Yes, GOD the Father sent JESUS around 4000 years after Adam, or 2000 years ago, and JESUS said: John 5:17 - My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

    Hebrews 1:1-3 comment:
    1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days(last two GOD's Days or last 2000 years-2Peter 3:8) spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

    3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of GOD's Person (The Word is GOD), and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
    Hallelujah!

    Here in Proverbs 8, pay special attention to 8:22 where we begin to see:
    Jesus' Existence from Eternity as a Divine Person,

    and then in 8:30, see the detailed description of where the Bible says,

    "Then I" (Jesus) "was by Him", (The Father)
    "as One" (Jesus) "brought up with Him": (The Father)
    "and I" (Jesus) "was daily His delight," (The Father)
    (and I, Jesus was) "rejoicing always before Him" (The Father)",
    in Proverbs 8:30.

    What you will want to see is where the Bible says there:

    (Jesus was) "rejoicing always before Him" (God the Father).

    You don't think Jesus was Eternally Generated
    from God the Father, Forever?

    Or that the Bible doesn't tell us how long
    Jesus was Eternally Generated from the Father?

    Sure it does.

    It's right there
    in that last part of Proverbs 8:30;

    (Jesus was) "rejoicing always before Him" (God the Father).

    How long, then, was Jesus rejoicing before the Father?

    "ALWAYS!"
    That's right there in the Bible.

    Gill's Exposition
    INTRODUCTION TO
    Proverbs 8

    "This chapter contains the instructions of Wisdom or Christ;
    showing the excellency of them, and the author of them,
    in opposition to the harlot and her allurements, in the preceding chapter.

    Christ, under the name of Wisdom, is represented as an herald,
    publishing the Gospel in the ministry of the word, either in person
    or by his servants, Proverbs 8:1.

    The places where this proclamation is made are described, Proverbs 8:2;

    the persons to whom, Proverbs 8:4.

    The excellency of the things delivered, being right things; truth,
    agreeably to the word of God, plain and easy to be understood,
    and of more worth than gold, silver, and precious stones, Proverbs 8:6.

    And then Wisdom, or Christ, is commended and recommended by his consummate prudence and knowledge, by his hatred of evil,
    and by his influence on the political affairs of kings and princes,
    Proverbs 8:12

    and the advantages of those that are early seekers of him are pointed out;
    their enjoyment of his favour, of his riches, honour and righteousness;
    and their being led by him in right paths now, and inheriting eternal glory hereafter, Proverbs 8:17.

    And next follows an account of
    Jesus' Existence from Eternity as a Divine Person,
    illustrated by a variety of phrases, Proverbs 8:22;

    22 "The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way,
    before his works of old.

    23 "I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning,
    or ever the earth was.

    24 "When there were no depths, I was brought forth;
    when there were no fountains abounding with water.

    25 "Before the mountains were settled,
    before the hills was I brought forth:

    26 "While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields,
    nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

    27 "When he prepared the heavens, I was there:
    when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

    28 "When he established the clouds above:
    when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

    29 "When he gave to the sea his decree,
    that the waters should not pass his commandment:
    when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

    30 "Then I was by him, as one brought up with him:
    and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

    "Then I was by him, as one brought up with him,...."

    "Jesus was then, and from all eternity, "by Him", or "with Him",
    which denotes Jesus' Co-Existence with God the Father,
    and His relation to Him as His Father;
    His nearness to Him,
    His Equality with Him,
    and His distinction from Him:

    "Jesus was by God the Father when the names of God's elect
    were put down in the book of life;

    "Jesus was by Him and with Him
    in the Council and Covenant of Grace and Peace;

    "and so in the Creation of all things, and has been ever since;

    "not as a onlooker, but as a Party concerned;
    and not as subordinate and inferior to His Father, but Equal with Him."

    "and I was daily his delight"; exceeding delightful to Him.

    "The Father loved the Son from all Eternity,
    with a love of complacency and delight, John 17:24;

    "Father, I will that they also,
    whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am;
    that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
    for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."

    "this delight was founded in Relation to Him, in Sonship; and in Likeness,
    JESUS being the Express Image of His Person;

    "in sameness of Nature, he being of the same Nature
    and Perfections with His Father:

    "and The Father delighted in Jesus as a Workman, in the works which He did, being the same He saw Him do; and in Jesus as Mediator,
    in His Constitution as such, and in engaging as a Surety,
    to obey and suffer in the stead of his people, Isaiah 42:1;

    "God the Father not only delighted in Jesus day by day,
    throughout the six days of the creation, when He was by Him as a workman,

    "but before, and even from The Days of Eternity;
    from the date of Jesus Commencement as Mediator;
    in the foreviews of His human nature, obeying and suffering in it;
    and of the Salvation of the Elect by hHim, and of His Own Glory in it;

    "rejoicing always before him",

    "Jesus always having been in The Father's Presence,"

    "always",

    "and Acceptable to Him;

    "rejoicing in having the same Nature and Perfections with Him,
    and in the relation Jesus stood in to God the Father
    and also in the view of the works of Creation and Redemption
    Jesus would be jointly concerned in with The Father;

    which joy always did
    and always will continue.

    "There is a Mutual Pleasure and Delight
    which the Father and Son have in each other,
    and in all that they are concerned;
    and especially in what respects the Salvation of the chosen people."

    "and of His being with the Father; of His great affection for Jesus
    and complacency in Him; and of Christ's Wonderful Delight
    and Pleasure in the sons of men, Proverbs 8:30.

    "And the chapter is concluded with an exhortation to them
    to hearken to His instructions; setting forth the happiness of those
    that wait on Him in public ordinances, and find Him;
    and the misery of those that hate and reject Him."

    Yes, what matters and prevails is the everlasting Word of GOD, the Word is from everlasting to everlasting, the Word is GOD, self-executing, understand? The Word -GOD - was made flesh around 2000 years ago or two GODs' Days ago, indeed it still was the fourth GOD's Day -Genesis 1:16- and He as the Greater Light said: My Father worketh hitherto, and I work-John 5:17. Yes, GOD the Father still was working because it was still the fourth Day of His works.

    Yes, The Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path-Psalm 119:105 combined with 1John 1:5: This is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that GOD is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. And the Word made flesh said: I am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness-John 12:46. My Lord JESUS also said to the Father in His prayer: John 17:7-8 -
    7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

    The testimony of JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy. By the way, Isaiah prophesied: For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    JESUS said to the Father: And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
    And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that THEY(THE TRUE BELIEVERS) might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. John 17:10 and 13.

    John 1:18 - No man hath seen GOD at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.

    John 14:8-9: --> 8 Philip saith unto JESUS: Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 JESUS saith unto Philip: Have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
    I and my Father are one-John 10:30.

    Opinion is good for nothing, what matters and prevails is the own testimony of JESUS, I mean, what JESUS said of He Himself, what do you think?

    You are free to give testimony of JESUS and express the point your view, and your own interpretation within the Word of GOD. As you know, opinion is good for nothing, what matters and prevails is the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, self-executing, understand? GOD is Spirit.
    By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth-Psalms 33:6.

    The Word is GOD, understand? The Word is from everlasting to everlasting, and around only 2000 years ago the Word was made flesh, the Word is GOD Himself, and what was the NAME of GOD, the Word made flesh? Matthew 1:21:->And she shall bring forth a Son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.

    Hebrews 1:1-3 an 8
    1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    2 Hath in these last days (last two Days or last 2000 years) spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; --> All things were made by JESUS; and without Him was not any thing made that was made-John 1:3.

    3 Who being the brightness of GOD's glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE(of the Word) of GOD's Person, and upholding all things by the Word of his power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

    Unto the Son He-GOD the Father- , saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy Kingdom.

    1 Corinthians 15:24-27 and 51-55

    24 The END cometh, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to GOD, even the Father; when He shall have PUT DOWN all RULE and all AUTHORITY and POWER.

    25 For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.

    26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

    51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

    52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump(Revelation 11:15-18): for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be CHANGED.

    53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

    54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. --> And what did JESUS say? Luke 20:35-36. Take a look.

    Be careful or else get ready
