Unconditional double, or even single predestination is an unbiblical heresy!

Romans 8:29-30, For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Ephesians 1:5, . . . Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, . . .

Ephesians 1:11, . . . In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: . . .

people get hung up on the Greek verb προορίζω. the base meaning is simply, decide upon beforehand. the CONTEXT tells us the WHAT

in the case of Romans 8, it is clear that this προορίζω, is for those to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON!

in the case in Ephesians 1, it is also clear, TO THE ADOPTION OF CHILDREN!

DON'T add to what the Scriptures are very clear on!

The Calvinistic understanding of PREDESTINATION is to SALVATION, for only the ELECT. This makes God UNJUST and the Bible's CLEAR Teaching on human FREE WILL, to be ERROR!

Notice what Jesus Christ tells the Jews who wanted to murder Him in John chapter 5

"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life" 39-40

These are ABLE to SEEK OUT THE BIBLE. They are EQUALLY ABLE to REFUSE to go to Jesus Christ so that they can obtain Eternal Life

VERY CLEAR that Jesus Christ here REJECTS that FALSE teachings of the reformed on PREDESTINATION, and UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION, and LIMITED ATONEMENT, and TOTAL DEPRAVITY! Not much left in the TULIP according to God Incarnate!
