    If a Bible student were to take Matthew 24:3
    and find the three questions that the disciples ask Jesus,
    they can then see what Jesus' answers were,
    to those specific questions.

    "And as He sat upon the mount of Olives,
    the disciples came unto Him privately,

    "saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?
    and what shall be the sign of Thy coming,
    and of the End of the World?"

    WE WOULD WANT TO RIGHTLY-DIVIDE THE THREE QUESTIONS;

    So, we have:
    1.) "Tell us, when shall these things be?
    2.) and what shall be the sign of Thy coming,
    3.) and of the End of the World?"

    THE FIRST QUESTION ANSWERED by JESUS:

    The Disciples asked Jesus:
    1.) "Tell us, when shall these things be?, (Matthew 24:3d),
    concerning the destruction of the Temple

    that Jesus had just described in;
    Matthew 24:1, 2;

    "And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple:
    and His disciples came to Him
    for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.

    "And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things?

    verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here
    one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

    The First Question is Answered by Jesus: in Matthew 24:4-14;

    So, when Jesus answers this question,
    He is exclusively talking about
    The Period of Time between when He was talking to the Disciples
    and the Moment those in Jerusalem see "The Abomination of Desolation",
    when Jerusalem is about to be destroyed,

    in Matthew 24:15, which begins Jesus' answer to the Disciples' second question.

    "Tell us, when shall these things be?, (Matthew 24:3d),
    during The Period of Time between when Jesus spoke there Words to the Disciples
    and the Moment those in Jerusalem see "The Abomination of Desolation",

    Matthew 24:4 "And Jesus answered and said unto them,
    Take heed that no man deceive you."

    5; "For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

    13; "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

    14; "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
    for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

    When The Bible here speaks of "the end",
    it is referring to "the end" of Jerusalem and Temple Worship, by the Romans.

    ...

    THE SECOND QUESTION ANSWERED by JESUS:
    Matthew 24:15 begins the answer Jesus gave to the second question;
    which is the contents of
    Matthew 24:15-35; no matter what anyone tells you.

    The Period of Time covered in
    Matthew 24:15-35
    is between the beginning of The Romans' siege upon the Jews
    and the complete destruction of Jerusalem.

    And that is all that is covered there. No 'double-prophecy'.

    There is no such thing. With a 'double-fulfillment'? Nope. Don't look for it.

    2.) "and what shall be the sign of Thy coming",
    (Matthew 24:3e)
    which Jesus answers, by answering the question,

    "what shall be the sign of
    The PROVIDENTIAL Coming of Your Presence
    in Bringing PROVIDENTIAL Judgment upon the Jews,
    for their unspeakable unfaithfulness
    and inhumane and despicable crucifixion of Jesus,
    WHEN YOU USE The Roman Army
    to bring in The Abomination of Desolation
    ,
    in JERUSALEM in A.D. 70?"

    Yes, I am substituting in,

    "The PROVIDENTIAL Coming of Your Presence
    in Bringing PROVIDENTIAL Judgment upon the Jews,
    for their unspeakable unfaithfulness
    and inhumane and despicable crucifixion of Jesus,
    WHEN YOU USE The Roman Army
    to bring in The Abomination of Desolation,
    in JERUSALEM in A.D. 70,

    for, "what shall be the sign of Thy coming"?,

    because the former is what Jesus answers and not the latter.

    The question Jesus answers is,
    "what shall be the sign

    of Your COMING in JUDGMENT, PROVIDENTIALLY in Jerusalem A.D.70
    USING THE ROMAN ARMY upon the Jews.

    ...

    see next:
    THE THIRD QUESTION ANSWERED by JESUS;
    Then beginning in Matthew 24:36-51; and gives us
    WHEN JESUS WILL RETURN and the Dividing of the goats
    and the sheep and the End of The World
    and Consummation of The New Testament Era Church Age
    and btw, Resurrection, Judgment,
    and the Creation of a New Heaven and New Earth, etc.

    3.)
    "what shall be the sign","of the End of the World?"
    (Matthew 24:3f);
    borrowing "what shall be the sign of",

    from the beginning of the phrase
    we will add "what shall be the sign of" at the beginning of the third question,
    to make it a question, to which Jesus again gives His answer.

    ...

    &
    The answer to these sayings of Jesus'
    is present in the divisions I gave Matthew 24
    and that is what I am going ahead and finishing.

    The answer to them is that Jesus was speaking to the Disciples
    and among them, there would be surviving eye-witnesses
    to The Destruction of Jerusalem.

    That is what The Bible is talking about, and it does not have anything to do
    with The Second Coming of Jesus, until Matthew 24:36.

    All Jesus was saying was that they better watch out
    for The Abomination of Desolation

    1.) "Tell us, when shall these things be?,
    (Matthew 24:3d; Answered in Matthew 24:4-14)
    The Destruction of Jerusalem happens after all these things.

    2.) "and what shall be the sign of Thy coming",
    (Matthew 24:3e; Answered in Matthew 24:15-35)

    Jesus Coming in Providential Judgment
    with THE ROMAN ARMY marching in stirring up clouds
    and who can be seen from the East unto the West on the horizon,
    while like lightning The Romans converge on the Jew's city, as a 'sign'.

    3.) "what shall be the sign","of the End of the World?"
    (Matthew 24:3f; Answered in Matthew 24-36-51.)
    There is no 'sign' for The End of The World. It just happens.
    There is nothing in the way of Jesus' Return that 'has to be fulfilled'.
