    BAPTISM

    Romans 6.3-11

Here Paul presented a little bit different meaning of Baptism beside the traditional meaning of Baptism that symbolically washes by water our sins in our promise to GOD to have a good conscience in following His Ordinances and Commandments.

John the Baptist Baptized people in one form of Baptism, but Jesus Christ now Baptizing by very special form of Spiritual Baptism, by Holy Spirit, Fire, and Death. On Himself Jesus showed such unusual Spiritual Baptism, He went through all the tribulations and insults and end His Life by the Death on the cross. This is the ultimate Baptism of Christ and of any true Christian who follows Him.

Christ warned His Apostles before time that they will go through the same Baptism by Holy Spirit and Fire, so whoever among them is not ready, should take it to account (Matthew 3.11) (Mark 1.8) (Luke 3.16) (John 1.33) (Acts 1.5, 11.16).

Originally, Baptism of John the Baptist symbolized crucifixion and death of our sins by immersing the body in the water. Jesus Christ brought to us a new Spiritual Baptism of much higher standard, the Spiritual Baptism, because it derives from the heart and soul of a person, with willingness to sacrifice himself/herself for Christ as Christ did for us.

Jesus Christ in His sermons and teachings reveal Spirituality of the Law of Moses hidden behind Physical Ritualistic Commandments of the Law and by this He showed the Spiritual Side of one of such Ritualistic Commandments in order to show as well that all Rituals have their own Spiritual meaning and purpose and should be understood from the Spiritual point of view and not only from its Physical side by blindly following their regulations and instructions.

So, the Spiritual power of the soul driven by the Holy Spirit (Baptism by the Holy Spirit) into Suffering and Death (Baptism by Fire) produces results of physical actions in the name of GOD as indication and proof of the highest Spiritual Faith, Righteousness, Dedication, and Loyalty to the Lord of all those who are go through this Spiritual Baptism, these are the true Christians.

Dying in Christ and for Christ also means to be with Him as one Person, just like Christ and His Father Are One. Christ Himself taught numerous times that a seed must die in order to bring a new life.

Such metamorphosis not only common in physical nature but also and in the Spiritual context and the matrix of the soul (spirit) then from the ordinary physical man coming out a Spiritual man, and his earthly temporary physical life transforms into Spiritual Everlasting life not only in the soul but also in the body.

Living with Christ and dying with Christ means now to dedicate a remaining portion of our lives to our Lord, in order that as we live together with Him, following His Principals and Ideals, and dying with Him together out of Love for Him, such Love in Christ and for Christ becomes Eternal Life with the Family of Holy Spirit and with the Holy angels of Heaven.

Interpreters of baptism in Romans 6 disagree which
baptism is meant. And the same disagreement is over the one baptism in Ephesians 4.

John the Baptist presented three baptisms as in Luke 3:16-17.

And interpreters disagree on Hebrews 6:2, Of the doctrine of baptisms, . . .
Whether it be John's presentation or understand to be under the Law washings.

Very good! Most evangelicals see only two.
