    There are no Biblical references of holy water being used under the New Covenant.

    The ONLY references that exist of the Catholic use of holy water during the Early Church period is pagan rituals.

    You see, Christians have no use for holy water because we who are saved have an invitation to drink freely of the Living Water.

    Catholics reach out to cheap substitutions, water blessed by a counterfeit (and unbiblical, per 1 Peter 2) priesthood. Rather than partaking of the riches God has to offer they are content with rags and water.

    And that is why they are pitied. Apart from those who overcome the paganism of their faith they are actually seeking to obtain grace in these dime store substitutions when they could be partakers of the depth that God offers His children.

    Where you suggest touching a grace endowed rag for healing we experience God Himself. Where you go to a "priest" to be absolve of your sins we approach our Mediator Himself. While you splash water, touch rock and pieces of wood for a glimpse of the Divine we enter His presence daily and commune with Him.

    But that is not holy water as used by Catholics.

    The ONLY people in Jesus' day and location that used holy water as Catholics use holy water were pagans.

    The references provided are actually references under the Old Covenant that foreshadowed the Promise (Jesus).

    No the Jews used holy water in Jesus day under mosaic law, that’s where Catholics inherited the practice into the New Covenant.

    Old Covenant worship practices foreshadowing New Covenant worship practices we see in Catholic and Orthodox Churches.

    Exposition of Jesus in The Holy Eucharist, you can see Israelite similarities.

    It was a Catholic Holy water font in the 1400s.

    Catholic Holy water is blessed in the Name of The Holy Trinity.

    Now you are making things up.

    There are no passages in the Bible that indicate the Catholic use of holy water.

    The only 1st century references of the Catholic use are pagan cults.

    I’m not making anything up. Catholicism is very Jewish, what you call pagan is actually the roots of Jewish religious practice.

    It was a Jewish Rabbi that instantly saw the ancient Israelite Temple worship when he entered a Catholic Church, only with Jesus being worshipped as the Messiah in the New Covenant.

    In fact you have to be Jewish to fully appreciate it.

    Protestantism is a European/ American invention, devoid of the Jewish roots of Christianity, sanitised and even alienated from it.
    When they encounter it, it seems pagan to them, they have no reference to genuine worship of God. They think worship is listening to a preacher in a pulpit for an hour on Sunday.
    They have been thoroughly robbed, brought up in a tradition focusing on the pulpit and preachers. This was never worship of God either in the Old Covenant or New. All cults of personality.

    Genuine worship is sacrificial. You will see Altars, Incense, Offerings and Adoration not sermonising, anecdotes, and music ministry emotionalism.

    But the Catholic Church has nothing to do with the Holy Trinity, but with the satanic trinity as is written in Revelation 16:13-15.

    Regarding the Catholic holy water based in the OT, as you have posted, the ritual is not actually an ordeal which provides a verdict on the woman's guilt for use by human judges for the issuance of the penalty for ADULTERY on the woman (which would be execution by stoning), but rather takes the form of a kind of "purgatory oath". According to the account of the ordeal of bitter water given in the Book of Numbers, the priest causes the woman to swear, and if she has gone aside, being under her husband, and be defiled, some man have lain with her besides her husband – then the priest causes the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the CURSE; and the water that causes the CURSE shall enter into her and become bitter.
    Then the Lord does make her thigh to fall away, and her belly to swell; and this water that causes the CURSE shall go into thy bowels, and make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to fall away.

    Why does the RCC is showed in Revelation as "Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth". Why are there a lot of pedophiles within the Catholic Church?

    ~~~~~~~Idolatry and depravity of the Gentile religious peoples~~~~~~~
    The Word of God reveals why the RCC is full of pedophiles, as follow:
    Epistle of Paul Apostle to the Church of Rome(the current APOSTATE Roman Catholic Church)Romans 1:18-32
    18 For the WRATH of GOD is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the Truth in unrighteousness;
    19 Because that which may be known of GOD is MANIFEST IN THEM; for GOD hath shewed it unto them.
    20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
    21 Because that, when they knew GOD they glorified Him not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
    22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
    23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible GOD into an image made like to corruptible MAN(by the way, they are made from the dust of the earth as the idols are done also), and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
    24 Wherefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
    25 Who changed the truth of GOD into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
    26 For this cause GOD gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
    27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men (gays or sodomites)working that which is unseemly,and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
    28 And even as they did not like to retain GOD in their knowledge, GOD gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
    29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
    30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
    31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
    32 Who knowing the Judgment of GOD, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
    The Word of GOD (the OT and NT) is from everlasting to everlasting, the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing, understand? These two WITNESSES of GOD have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters (peoples, and NATIONS, and multitudes of all tongues) to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with ALL PLAGUES, as often as they will.
    The Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing, so GOD must cause the woman, the WOMAN "With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication", the apostate Church of Rome as a whole, drink the water of bitterness that causes the CURSE; and the water that causes the CURSE shall enter into her and become bitter. The Lord does make this water , by allegory the Word of GOD, that causes the CURSE , shall go into thy bowels, and make thy belly begetting children for perdition to swell, and thy thigh to fall away.
    Revelation 8:10-11
    10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
    11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
    Yes, you are right, the spiritist Catholicism which invokes and pray and worship defuncts beatified by the Popes, and the esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist Judaism , what both religious system practice are all ministered according to the father of the Jews - John 8:44.
    I was an 'altar' boy when I was in the rc denomination. We had a day in church every year where we had a statue of Mary with a crown on her head on a platform loaded with flowers. Four men had this platform on their should and walked it down the aisle led by the priest, who was swinging this incense thing, and two 'altar' boys (I was one of them). When we got to the 'altar', the priest would turn around and face the statue. I would refill the incense thing with these little round discs of incense. The priest would then face the statue of Mary and recite prayers while swinging the incense to the statue of Mary and the smoke would surround the statue. I shudder now when I think that I participated in this. This was definitely worshipping a statue.
    Catholicism does look back to the Old Covenant to justify many of its practices. That is not a good thing.
    These ideas were non-existant in the Early Church. Jewish Chriatians attended the Temple until 70 AD, but this was custom, not Chriatian practice (Gentiles did not practice Judaism).
    If you went to a Christian church, for example, you would not find altars, incense, a focus on sacrificial worship, etc.
    Rome made the Empire Christian. This produced a "church" that was forced to merge their pagan religion with the Christian faith.
    The Judaism had the necessary structure to adopt and maintain paganism while Christianity did not (altars, incense, elevated priesthood to laity, sacrificial worship, etc).
    The Catholic Church is a mixture of Roman paganism and Christianity. The ONLY references to many Catholic practices during the first few centuries of the Church is Roman paganism.
    The spiritual issue here is obvious.
    We experience God's grace. We experience healing. We experience miracles.
    But we experience these things, we experience the spiritual realm, without looking for subordinate objects endowed by God's power. We experience these things daily directly from, by, and through God.
    Where you seek to encounter a rag touched by God we actually encounter God Himself.
    If I am not wrong, what you described above has a picture of Pope Benedictus XVI, among other pictures, doing exactly what you have posted above. See the link, post 109
    The Word of GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
    Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we must render an account, understand?Hebrews 4:12-13.
    What matters and prevails is the everlasting Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing.
    Did it sort of look like this.
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    The Arks of the Covenants are heavily involved in the Genuine worship of God.
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    Mary is The Ark of The New Covenant.
    The Ark of the Covenant is not worshipped, it is venerated as the Seat and Throne and Sanctuary of God on Earth, in the Old Covenant and New Covenant.
    The Ark of The Old Covenant had a crown, it is fitting that the Ark of the New Covenant have a crown as well.
    “and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.“ Exodus 25
    At the Great Atonement for all Israel Lev 16, The Ark was central.
    The High Priest sprinkled blood of Sacrifice on and before the Ark.
    “Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat.”
    Christ the High Priest at the Atonement Sacrifice for the whole world, sprinkles His blood on and before Mary at the foot of the Cross.
    [IMG]
    Mary was together there central at The Atonement Sacrifice for All mankind.
    Mary is never referred to in God's Word as the ark of the New Covenant.
    Only the profound understanding of Scripture reveals Mary as the Ark of the New Covenant.
    There is a great gulf between the profound understanding of scripture and the profane understanding of scripture.
    The profane can read scripture all they want, but they will never uncover the depths of Scripture.
    I'm sorry you think my understanding of Scripture is profane. However, I repeat that there is no mention of Mary in such a role. The Old Testament Ark of the Covenant contained the two tables of the Law, Aaron's rod and a pot of manna. I suppose that for the 9 months of her pregnancy, Mary "contained" the developing foetus of The Lord Jesus Christ, but at the end of the 9 months, that finished. So even if she could be called an ark for that short period, that is all. She doesn't continue to be an ark in any sense.
    The Ark contained the Ten Commandments, The Word of God. Jesus is The Word of God.
    The Ark contained the Rod of Aaron, The High Priests Authority, Jesus is High Priest with all Authority.
    The Ark contained the Manna from Heaven provided by God, Jesus is The Bread of Life, the New Manna from Heaven.
    In Jesus, Mary contained all three at the Incarnation. The Word, The High Priest, The Bread of Life.
    “And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all thingswhich I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.”
    Jesus meets with mankind in Mary at the Incarnation.
    Just as the Ark was overshadowed by the shekinah glory at Gods manifestation to Israel, Mary is overshadowed by the Holy Spirit at God’s manifestation to all mankind, Jesus, God Incarnate, God with us.
    Mary’s life is marked by angels at the angel at the annunciation and at the Resurrection. Between these two Jesus gave His commands to all mankind.
    The Ark of the Covenant was the foreshadowing of Mary and the full manifestation of God to mankind in Jesus.
    She remains God’s Holy Throne, and God’s Throne is to be always honoured. To dishonour God’s Throne is to dishonour Him.
    “Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.“
