Yes, I agree that as a believer, I groan within myself, waiting for my Saviour to give me a new body...so that I will never sin against Him again.
But that wasn't the subject of my question.

My question was, do you truly believe that God's people can never come to a complete knowledge of whether or not a doctrine or set of doctrines is true?

You seem to be saying that there are many "beliefs" that are encompassed by "the faith" that Paul, Jude and others of the Lord's apostles wrote about...
That groups of people who profess Christ, especially those who perpetually differ with each other ( at times radically and even stubbornly holding to those errors ) doctrinally, can all be saved and indwelt by the Holy Spirit...who acts as both Comforter and Teacher.

Am I correct in my observation?

If so, then I'm sorry... but we will have agree to disagree with each other on this.
I've heard this sort of thing taught even from pulpits for most of my life, and cannot find it anywhere in the Scriptures.

Rather, I clearly see that God is pleased, in bestowing the gift of His Spirit to His people, so that they might know the things that are freely given to them...those "things" ( truths and promises ) that men like Paul spoke of ( 1 Corinthians 2 ).

Unfortunately for many, the Lord Jesus on Judgement Day will tell people who thought that they had "met the requirements", that He never knew them.

While I agree that God's elect do not enjoy a complete doctrinal understanding for some time after they are called into the fellowship of the saints, it can and does come in time and with study.

I agree, and it saddens me when I read passages like this:

" This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
    4 traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was."
    ( 2 Timothy 3:1-9 )

But as sad as it makes me, I know from the Scriptures that for many this is and will be true, sir.
They will forever be searching for God, and will never find Him. :(

As usual, it trails off onto the C/A Highway.
I thought it would be more about dipped or dunked, pianos or organs, Lord’s Supper every Sunday or once a month, once a quarter, Psalm Singing or Sacred Hymns?………in worship service everybody use the same translation, or is it worship service or preaching service? Dispensationalist or HistoricPre-mil, postmil or amil?

Either way, I read, and it’s good to read others thoughts and opinions.

And that is the primary issue at hand… how do you get saved? Is it entirely by Gods Grace or do you have a hand in your own salvation by your choices and works? Then if so, you can’t believe that God is your savior, ie then He isn’t Sovereign.

I agree about needing King Jesus not King James. I'm glad that in my country (UK) until recently when we started following the USA, the version translated in 1611 was known as "The Authorised Version£" ("AV") from the fact that its introduction states that it was "authorised to be read in churches". "King James Version" gives the totally wrong idea that King James actually translated it!

    Wrong!

I'm glad that in my country (USA) we know that the word used is not "authorised", but "appointed". And that's on the title page, not the introduction.
