    The Catholic idea of Reconciliation stems from the Lord granting power to His Apostles to forgive and retain sin in His Name and Person. This Apostolic gift is bestowed by The Holy Spirit being breathed on them by the Lord.
    This is the power of spiritual resurrection which they are to impart to sinners.

    “Then the Lord God formed the man out of the dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.”

    Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.” When He had said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you withhold forgiveness from anyone, it is withheld.”

    As The Father sent Jesus with Authority, so Jesus sends the Apostles out with Authority.

    This gift of The Holy Spirit is given only to The Apostles and later to their successors. God’s own power is given to them to administer God’s forgiveness.

    Going to one of these for forgiveness, you are going to Jesus who is specially present by The Holy Spirit.

    “ He who listens to you, listens to me “

    They are ambassadors of Christ.

    “18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” 2 Cor:5

    So Jesus established the ministry of reconciliation so that all generations can receive the new and ordinary means of Jesus forgiveness.

    The ordinary means of reconciliation is through Christ’s ambassadors, not direct appeals to God, Jesus established it this way.

    Jesus is present in His ambassadors. So you aren’t confessing to a particular priest, you are confessing to Jesus through The Holy Spirit, and receiving His forgiveness through The Holy Spirit.

    Mortal sin cuts us off from God, and this life giving breath of Christ is imparted through His ambassadors so that sinners can live in a state of Grace once again.

    Also the sinner can have the assurance that their sins are forgiven, because Apostolic Judgement has been made on them, especially for grave sin.

    Jesus appointed Apostolic Shepherds to minister to His sheep, with His power. To bring life to the spiritually dead should they fall into grave sin.

    There are many dangers to the spiritual life, especially today where sin has been incultured , institutionalised and even celebrated.

    Many are living dead due to mortal sin, Grace is no longer alive in them and they can no longer do miracles or good by Grace, but they only add to the weight of judgement for the whole earth.

    To be effective for Jesus we must not only eliminate mortal sin, but even venial sin from our lives and even further eliminate our imperfections as far as possible.

    People have told me that my prayers are powerful, but it’s not me it’s the space in me that allows Jesus to be powerful through me.
    Sin, even so called “small sins” robs Jesus effectiveness through us, we must reflect Jesus light and power, and that is greatly lessened if the mirror of our soul is smeared by sin.
    This is remedied by Confession.

    “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.“

    This is why our prayers have such power, because we have cleared our conscience before God and humbled ourselves in His sight by confession. Confession is the humble sacrament and makes us righteous, because the less we are, the more Jesus is in us.

    “A humble and contrite heart, you will not spurn”

    First we must be healed before we are sent out to be powerful and effective for Jesus.

    So at the end of each day we examine our conscience and ask for self knowledge making note of sins of commission or omission, and at the end of the week confess them. But also ask for special light regarding your imperfections, over time and by Grace we can be made aware of them and steadily eliminate them through life.

    The things that make space for Jesus to be most powerful through you, are Confession, fasting, mortifications, humiliations, to suffer without complaint but with thanksgiving, keeping silence and actively renouncing your will.

    If you want to see real power, providence, healing and protection, do these. You are doing two things, humbling yourself and getting out of Jesus way so that only the Holy Will of The Father is done in your day, not our stupid lame will.

    There is no better way to live for those who love Jesus, the more space we make for Jesus the better, because without Him, we can do nothing.
    There has been a lot of nothing happening because people haven’t been making space for Jesus.

    We want be able to say as Paul did, that it is no longer I that lives, but Christ who lives in me.

    After hearing the word and receiving The Word, Jesus in The Eucharist at Mass each day, we are sent out. The priest says “ Go in Peace to love and serve the Lord “

    That great peace we share out to others, but also His Love, because Jesus Presence in us can not be hid, and every soul and heart feels His Presence even if their minds do not.

    Jesus creates havens of Love, Peace and Joy around us, so that others can find rest, Peace, healing and love.

    “ He must increase and I must decrease “

    We must deny ourselves and humble ourselves and our will, so that only Jesus does in and through us.

    We are 99% of the problem and satan about 1% of the problem. It’s getting self crucified and dead first so that Jesus can fully Reign and express Himself in and through us.
    Evil can do nothing when Jesus is Sovereign in you.

    When you are filled by His Love and desires, there is no room for discordant desires and desires to sin.

    When we are healed and remain faithful to the small things Jesus Will commands, that is our daily duties for our state in life, He may require further things, further afield.
    We must be established in solid fidelity and attentiveness to the small things, the seemingly insignificant and ordinary, but these things done in His Will are not insignificant, small or ordinary, they are the foundations of His Kingdom in your life.

    Only in a state of Grace is the building done, and all things done in God’s Will endure eternally.

    Forgiveness is proclaimed and administered through Christ’s Apostolic ambassadors, this is a great gift that Jesus saw would be necessary.

    Don’t believe those that say it is unnecessary, Jesus establishing it, means it is necessary.

    “Moreover, how much are they both greater in faith and better in their fear, who, although bound by no crime of sacrifice to idols or of certificate, yet, since they have even thought of such things, with grief and simplicity confess this very thing to God’s priests, and make the conscientious avowal, put off from them the load of their minds, and seek out the salutary medicine even for slight and moderate wounds, knowing that it is written, ‘God is not mocked.’ God cannot be mocked, nor deceived, nor deluded by any deceptive cunning. Yea, he sins the more, who, thinking that God is like man, believes that he evades the penalty of his crime if he has not openly admitted his crime…I entreat you, beloved brethren, that each one should confess his own sin, while he who has sinned is still in this world, while his confession may be received, while the satisfaction and remission made by the priests are pleasing to the Lord?” Cyprian, To the Lapsed, 28-29 (A.D. 251).

    “All mortal sins are to be submitted to the keys of the Church and all can be forgiven; but recourse to these keys is the only, the necessary, and the certain way to forgiveness. Unless those who are guilty of grievous sin have recourse to the power of the keys, they cannot hope for eternal salvation. Open your lips, them, and confess your sins to the priest. Confession alone is the true gate to Heaven.” Augustine, Christian Combat (A.D. 397).

    #5 James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

    That reads to me as involving the entire assembly rather than that solitary priest.

    The elders are to be married 1 Timothy 3:1-7 because if they cannot manage their own household, how can they manage the house of God? These be the ones that are rooted in the scripture to be praying for healings on other believers.

    There are no scripture about confessing specifically to a priest other than to Jesus Christ at that throne of grace 1 John 1:9 & Hebrews 4:12-16

    #6 There are no scripture teaching for infant baptism but there are scriptures exhorting parents in teaching children in the way they ought to go.

    Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

    #7 It is unfortunate that the RCC took His words said to the unbelieving jews rather than what He said to His disciples but Jesus was not talking about communion in John 6th chapter but how we are saved by coming to & believing in Jesus Christ for that is how they can receive the bread of life. John 6:35-40

    John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

    36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

    37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

    38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

    39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

    40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

    If jesus was really talking about communion, then according to His promise in John 6:35, they would only have to take communion once and never hunger nor thirst for that communion again to be filled but He was not talking about communion but by how we are saved by believing in Him for eternal life.

    The Jews kept asking for that manna from Heaven as being that bread of life and they did ask Him for that bread of life but because they were stuck in that mentality of "eating" is why Jesus became sarcastic to the unbelieving Jews.

    John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

    61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

    62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

    63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

    64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

    So transubstantiation is not only a false reading of His words but Paul speaks against believing that His Presence is in the bread and the wine for that would make them idols when the bread and the wine is only symbolic of His body & His blood.

    1 Corinthians 10:14-23 KJV - Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from - Bible Gateway

    The Protestant churches are also guilty of committing this offense to God as they believe Christ's Presence is in the bread and the wine and now promoting that they are receiving spiritual benefits when partaking in "holy" communion which is also false because if Jesus had meant for us to do communion for anything far more important than in remembrance of Him, He would have led with that, but He did not because communion was a reminder of proclaiming the Lord's death for what he has finished on the cross.

    Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

    21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

    22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

    23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

    1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

    20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

    So we need to apply scriptures of what the RCC would gloss over because it reproves how they are misapplying scriptures for why they promote against Sola Scriptura.

    It is said that the Mass offers that one time sacrifice for sins as if Jesus is willing to make it available again, as Catholics look forward to Mass to partake of in order to receive the atonement for sins committed since last Mass, Hebrews 10:1-31 testifies for how it is an offense to God to make the blood of the Covenant to be on par with the blood of goats & bulls that it bears repeating again when having the Holy Spirit in you is proof that you are sanctified forever by that one offering for sin.

    Hebrews 10:1-31 KJV - For the law having a shadow of good - Bible Gateway

    Hebrews 10: 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us:......

    This is why Jesus Christ is the Good News to man and it is by the preaching of the cross is how anyone can believe and be saved and not by extension to being a member of the RCC and doing the works within as if this is how one can obtain salvation by which is dubious when you have to persevere in charity or else you are not saved.

    Catechism of the Catholic Church - IntraText (vatican.va)

    837
    "Fully incorporated into the society of the Church are those who, possessing the Spirit of Christ, accept all the means of salvation given to the Church together with her entire organization, and who - by the bonds constituted by the profession of faith, the sacraments, ecclesiastical government, and communion - are joined in the visible structure of the Church of Christ, who rules her through the Supreme Pontiff and the bishops. Even though incorporated into the Church, one who does not however persevere in charity is not saved. He remains indeed in the bosom of the Church, but 'in body' not 'in heart.'"321

    Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

    6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

    # 8 & # 9 & # 10 All pertains by the Catholic view and thus the misapplication of the scriptures and yet they value their views as if stemming from scriptures even though there are scriptures reproving them for misapplying scriptures.

    I thanks you for sharing the Catholic view and even though Protestants share in some of what I believe are erroneous views, hopefully you can understand my concerns for Catholics that do not believe they are saved yet, when they are saved for having believed in the Lord Jesus Christ & that God has raised Him from the dead. That is why Jesus Christ is the Good News to man and why we can tell unbelievers now that Jesus Christ IS the Saviour because we are saved since having believed in Him.

    I see Catholicism as a rip off of the joy of salvation that Catholics already have in Jesus Christ, but only God can help Catholics see the truth in His words to know the vanity and the offense the RCC is doing to them as that body of believers.

    Same goes for the offense of the Protestant churches for how they do communion.

    Both denominations need His help to see the truth in His words to either correct the offenses within or leave the church altogether.

    2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

    15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

    16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

    18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

    No, Jesus likened His own flesh to the Manna, only that His flesh would give eternal life to those who ate it, unlike those who ate the Old Covenant Manna and died.

    “Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died.”

    “But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.”

    “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

    Just as manna was the daily bread that sustained the body of Israel to the promised land. The Eucharist, the Flesh of Christ is the daily bread of Church sustaining us to Eternal Life.

    “ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood, has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. “

    “ My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink “

    You deny these words of Jesus when you call it symbolic.

    You don’t believe that Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink.

    Zwingli was the first heretic that denied the reality of Jesus flesh and blood in the Eucharist whilst believing the Incarnation, all the preceding Church unanimously East and West believed that the Eucharist was literally the flesh and blood of Christ.

    Ignatius Bishop of Antioch and disciple of John in his condemnation of the Docetists, ( Those who denied that Jesus had a physical body at all ) writes.

    “They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they confess not the Eucharist to be the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, which suffered for our sins, and which the Father, of His goodness, raised up again. They who deny this gift of God are perishing ” Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to Smyrnaeans, 7,1 (c. A.D. 110).

    This is a disciple John who wrote John 6, the Eucharist is Jesus flesh. This is the true interpretation of John 6.

    Like Jesus said “ My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink “

    Believe.

    “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.“ John15:5

    “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.“

    If people’s “faith” is merely intellectual assent, then no, they aren’t saved. We must obey His commands and those commands are to Love above all.
    Love requires works, not merely to have feelings.

    “For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.” Galatians 5

    Those whose so called “ Faith “ is merely intellectual assent are in for a rude shock.

    “13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

    14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

    15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

    16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

    17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.“ James 2

    Faith without works is dead, because faith without love is dead, Love requires works.

    “ Faith “ without The works of Love, earns Judgement without mercy.

    How many have been lost by this unholy heresy?

    41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

    44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

    45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

    46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

    On what basis did they assume getting into heaven, Faith alone ?

    They had no works of love and were judged without mercy.

    Many hold to the “ faith alone “ heresy, sneering at works of charity as unnecessary, the last thing they see will be a sneer on the Face of the Lord at Judgement according to Scripture.

    “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
    If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
    And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
    Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

    James warns of “Faith” without the works love.

    Paul warns of “ Faith “ without the works love.

    These two both warn of a “faith “ that has no works of love and it is a dangerous faith no matter how great it is.

    You can have faith enough to move mountains, but if you don’t have works of love you amount to nothing.

    Don’t have that kind of faith, faith alone. Scripture warns against it.

    There are two different views on how Jesus as the true manna is eaten.

    John 6:35, . . . And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. . . .

    John 6:47, . . . Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. . . .

    Yes. But he that doth not believeth, doth not eateth, as the Lord commandeth.

    Those that believed Jesus words, that His flesh was real food and blood was real drink, ate His body and drank His blood at the Last Supper. Those that did not believe Jesus words apart from Judas abandoned Jesus in unbelief.
    Judas ate Jesus body without believing and Satan entered him instead.

    The proof of believing in Jesus is in the eating.

    That is not what Jesus said to Nicodemus and this is the same message He gave in John 6th chapter..

    John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

    14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

    15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

    16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

    18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    So it is the believing is how we are saved and not by the eating.

    “Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not the things I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.“

    Those that hear Jesus words and don’t believe them and don’t put them into practice, I will show you what they are like.
    They like a man trying to build a house with no foundation or plan on fathomless quicksand, with no material.

    If people don’t believe Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink and refuse eat His flesh or drink His blood as He asks, they aren’t believing in or on Him at all.

    “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you “

    “ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him on the last day. “

    “ My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink “

    “ So he who eats me, will live because of me “

    Those that don’t believe Jesus words, don’t put them into practice and don’t receive their promises.

    “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you “

    Those that do believe Jesus words and do eat His flesh and drink His blood.

    “ He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him on the last day. “

    Believing and Faith is not merely some kind of intellectual assent, it is believing Jesus words and putting them into practice.

    Why call Him Lord and do not the things He says?

    If Jesus is your Lord, you will believe His words, and do as He says.

    Matthew 7:13-27 in context is about how false prophets has broaden the way in coming to God the Father by which they did by that modified Nicene creed of 381 A.D. when they include the worship of the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son, thus teaching that believers can approach God the Father by way of the "blessed Trinity" when Jesus is the only way John 14:6

    To climb up any other way is a robber and a thief John 10:1 Jesus emphasized He is the door John 10:7. And the only way to honor the Father is by only honoring the Son John 5:22-23 the moment you stop honoring the Son by honoring the Holy Spirit or the "Blessed Trinity" saved believers are not honoring the Father at all.

    Getting back to Matthew 7:13-27 where focus on the Holy Spirit like they did at the Azusa Street Revival of 1906-1909 with the emphasis on baptism with the Holy Ghost with evidence of tongues, other phenomenon manifestation was occurring there as well like a variation of holy laughter, being drunk in the spirit, being slain in the spirit, and not just having miracles and healings supposedly in that revival where saved believers were losing self control & falling; hence what Jesus warned about in Matthew 7:24-27 for not heeding His words.

    The holy Spirit is God and is One of the Three witnesses within the One God BUT the Holy Spirit in us is sent to testify of the Son thru us per John 15:26-27 to glorify the Son John 16:14 and so He will nor lead us to testify of the Holy Spirit in seeking the glory of the Holy Spirit in any movement of the "spirit".

    So regardless of how the phenomenon starts, the wayward invokes the phenomenon again by calling for the Holy Spirit to come and that spirit of the antichrist does come with signs and lying wonders.

    In the same way the apparitions of the virgin Mary comes when invokes by prayers as well.

    Antichrist means "instead of Christ" as applied in scripture and so that is why the real indwelling Holy Spirit would never point to Himself in taking saved believers eyes off of the Son, not even for a momentary visit with signs & wonders. Indeed, it is a Catholic teaching for Catholics to seek the gifts of the Spirit by praying to the Holy Spirit.

    1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

    19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

    The RCC has done nothing but create every other avenue to go to instead of to Jesus Christ in worship, fellowship, and prayer.

    That is not rightly dividing the word of truth because those who do not do communion in that way are not falling or losing self control or anything like that and so that cannot be the work of iniquity by which they fall or lose self control by.

    Proverbs 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

    27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.

    28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

    1 Corinthians 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

    33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

    Remember that the Jews had asked Jesus to give them that bread of life?

    John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

    31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

    32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

    33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

    34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

    35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

    36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

    How easy is it for Jesus to provide communion right there if that is what He was really talking about but He did not. He told them HOW to receive that bread of life by coming to & believing in Him but they see Him and believe not.

    Therefore what you are applying from His words later on is His utter sarcasm for their unbelieving hearts when He had told them how to receive that bread of life but they were stuck on eating that bread as if like manna from heaven.

    Mary’s appearance is biblical.

    “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”

    Jesus wasn’t being sarcastic at all, He was asking them to believe that His flesh was real food and blood was real drink, and that by eating His flesh and drinking His blood, they would receive eternal life and be raised on the last day.

    They did not believe Jesus words, and left Him, thus they were not there at the Last Supper when Jesus gave His body and blood for them to eat and drink.

    Same as today. Those that do not believe that Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink, do not come and receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Their absence is the proof of their unbelief in Jesus words.

    If they believed Jesus words, they would come to Him and eat His flesh and drink His blood as He said.

    They deny His words and refuse to come.

    “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.“

    Those that didn’t believe Jesus words, didn’t cometh to Him, they wenteth away.

    Once you believe Jesus words, that His flesh is real food and blood is real drink. And that by eating His flesh and drinking His blood you receive everlasting life unto the resurrection of the last day, then you will go and eat His body and drink His blood as He says.

    Many hear Jesus words, don’t believe them, and don’t do what they say, yet still call Him Lord, Lord.

    I echo His question.

    Why call Him Lord, and do not the things He says?

    Believe His words and you will come to Him and eat His flesh for your hunger, you will drink His blood for your thirst.

    Revelation 12:1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

    2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

    3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

    4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

    5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

    6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

    That woman is the nation of Israel having that 12 stars hence 12 crowns hence 12 tribes, and after the pre great tribulation rapture, the 144,000 Witnesses, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel, as that nation of Israel, will be needing to hide from the beast for the duration of the great tribulation per verse 6.

    I understand how you & the RCC took that out of context as if to represent Mary but she is not on earth hiding out from the beast.

    I shall pray for you that the father will lead you to actually pray to His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to help you see the truth in His words for why Mary is not the Queen of Heaven and why she would be insulted for giving her that title when it was one of the many false gods that had provoked the Lord in the Old Testament.

    Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

    You cannot honor Mary nor any of the departed saints for that would not be honoring the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Mediator between God and men as only Jesus can answer prayers so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answers to prayers.

    1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me....
    .
    13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

    14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

    So you are not doing what Jesus has taught but you would heed His words when He is speaking sarcastically to the unbelieving Jews. Did you ever note they never got that bread even though they had asked Him for it? That is why He is being sarcastic to them because they keep thinking bread like manna from heaven rather than what He said for how to receive that bread and that is by coming to and believing in Jesus Christ for salvation. He was never talking about communion at all.

    The symbolism is polyvalent, it is symbolic of Mary the mother of the one who rules with an iron sceptre. It is symbolic of the persecuted Church with the 12 Apostles.
    "But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel” Luke 22:28-30.
    The whole number of God's redeemed people is represented in the expression "twelve tribes of Israel."

    Any time you pray for someone, you are acting as a mediator between God and man. Even in the Lords Prayer. “ Give us this day our daily bread “ and “ forgive us our trespasses “ etc
    The One Mediatorship of Christ is His work on the Cross. That’s the one unique mediator between God and man being demonstrated.

    In the Davidic line the Mother of the King is Queen, Christ being King in the line of David makes Mary Queen. Solomon’s Mother was Queen of Israel, not his wife.
    Christ being King means Mary is Queen.

    They never got the bread that Jesus spoke of because they left Jesus before the Last Supper when He held up bread and declared it to be His body, and held up the Cup of wine, declaring it to be His blood.

    You don’t believe Jesus flesh is real food and blood is real drink.

    You don’t eat His flesh and drink His blood as He commanded.

    In this you are in denial and disobedience to His Word.

    You have to show scripture to that testimony rather than what the RCC teaches, if they actually say that at all.

    When referring to scripture in Revelation, I can understand the relevance to Mary giving birth to the child but the rest of that verse where He is taken up to Heaven ends that as being a symbol of Mary but rather the comment in the quote down below.

    Mary is not on the run and hiding in the wilderness for why that cannot be about Mary but how the Saviour came out of Israel.

    The Mediator is the Mediator of the Covenant as He is the One that has reconciled us to God the Father and that is why prayers can only come to the Father by the only way provided, and that is by His Son.

    John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    That means in worship, fellowship, and especially prayer.

    John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

    To pray any other way is an offense to God the Father when he told us how we are to come to Him by.

    John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber..... 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: ......

    Anyone you put before Jesus is a thief and a robber, and that includes any saved believer that puts the Holy Spirit as the One to Go To even though He is God and One of the Three Witnesses within the One God.

    Look at what happens when praying to the Holy Ghost to come and signs and lying wonders do come like in the holy laughter movement which broke out in Catholic & Protestant churches in 1997 as reported by the 700 Club as it was no longer a streamlined Pentecostal / Charismatic phenomenon. Although I am sure you can find some Catholic priests speaking against it, it happened when the phenomenon occurs, they assumed it was the Holy spirit, and so they invoke the Holy Spirit to come again and the phenomenon happens again.

    Kundalini Manifestations in the Church Compared to the Occult - YouTube

    Why would God allow these strong delusion & confusion to occur other than by the offensive route they took?

    Since it is an offense to God to use the Holy Spirit in that manner, so is it for using Mary or any of the departed saints in that manner as well.

    Do beware. Jesus said it that He is the only way to God the father by and He meant it.

    John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

    That leaves no wiggle room for honoring the Holy Spirit and certainly leaves no wiggle room for honoring Mary or any of the departed saints, becaue the moment you stop honoring the Son, you are no longer honoring the Father.

    ~~~~
    What would be the example that Mary set by her life but praying to Jesus or to the Father in Jesus's name. This lie about Jesus being mad a Catholics for why they are prompted t go to Mary because Jesus will never say no to Mary, does convince me that when Jesus appears, they will draw back in fear when their hope is on Mary rather than on Jesus Christ.
    Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
    No, it does not. Since His disciples and other believers and the churches did not make a big deal about Mary while she was on earth, then why are you?
    to be continued.....
    continuing.....
    They never got that manna from heaven to eat as a sign so they can believe in Him because Jesus told them how to receive that bread of life by coming to & believing in Him, BUT He declared why they are not receiving that bread of life because they do not believe in Him.
    John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
    I am actually listening to His words for why you are only applying His words of sarcasm to the unbelieving Jews because they did not believe in Him in order to receive that bread of life.
    Look at what He has said to His disciples as He deferred from His words of sarcasm to the unbelieving Jews by telling His disciples about His future ascension, and plainly declared that the flesh profiteth nothing as He was not talking about communion but how we are saved by coming to & believing in Jesus Christ after His ascension which is after His crucifixion.
    John 6:61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
    62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
    63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
    the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
    64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
    So that is why Jesus was never talking about communion otherwise He would give that bread when they had asked Him.
    Jesus was saying the same thing to Nicodemus in regards to His crucifixion and His ascension for whenever anyone believes in Him are born again of the Spirit and thus are saved.
    John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
    14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
    15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
    16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    That, fellow believer, is rightly dividing the word of truth.
    I am telling you that since you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that God has raised Him from the dead, you are saved. You do not need to be a member of the Catholic Church nor do the sacraments within her to obtain salvation. You are being ripped off of your faith in Jesus Christ & you are being robbed of the joy of your salvation in Christ Jesus because God did not give grace so you can do works to obtain salvation as that is the opposite of grace.
    Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
    You do not need anyone else but Jesus Christ, your Bridegroom, in living that reconciled relationship with God the Father by.
    Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:.....
    31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
    32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
    33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
    34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
    35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
    36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
    37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
    38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
    39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    That is scriptural proof that Jesus Christ loves you for why you do not need Mary at all. By continuing to need Mary, is you saying you do not believe Jesus Christ that he loves you even though He gave His life for you out of love for you.
    John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
