I think he struck the right tone, a lot of American and Australian blood went into liberating Europe, not to see free speech and election results canceled.
So how’s AUSTRALIA doing econocially today? Did you see the reaction to the European dignitaries after Shadies speech…LOL can I suggest underwhelming. I’m surprised they allowed him considering. This guy is a dip***t without any understanding about diplomacy….embarrassing.

I notice Vance got a lot of personal abuse, but no one seemed to contest what he was saying.
He raised issues like people being arrested for mental prayer, and speech, and election results being cancelled.
And that these were inconsistent with American values, and traditional western values in general.
Vance rightly pointed out the divergence between western liberal values and Europe’s creeping authoritarian trajectory.
The enemy is internal, Marxist socialist authoritarianism.

And no, he made a highly intelligent and valid argument.

You show your ignorance each time you post. Again, you would be wise to think before you speak…or post.
Whether or not JD Vance has trouble in his marriage isn’t the question.

Gossiping about whatever problems he has, on the BB, is shameful for Christians and unChristlike.

So again, shame on you for gossiping and shame you for attacking me for pointing out you are gossiping.

I’ll leave to to wallow in the muck.

Peace to you

Tough….

First, may I say fishwife that this social climber is totally outclassed by his wife …totally obvious for anybody paying attention. And I’m not ashamed by anything I say or do on this forum … my opinions are my own and I could care less what you think, but on that point however let me also say that you have allot to point to in the shame category, so don’t get me started unless your spoiling for a fight. BTW, his wife is on record as saying that he has ignored her and the family and she is distressed by this… so this criticism is real world and has been well documented so go take a flying leap for yourself with your own Karen like criticisms.

Well, you are saved apparently, so you can be as uncharitable as you like.

I’m not charitable to a guy who lives in a mansion. My people are proudly working class I.e. farmers, coal miners, factory workers, electricians, machinists, car mechanics etc. Buying dirt to us is a noble profession…something to be proud of…sweat of the brow stuff is what’s passed down to us by parents going back to Adam. But politics is a dirty business to us unless it comes with benefits to the common man. I personally take a dim view of anyone selling my countries citizenship to rich people who don’t earn it…it’s cheap, it’s not fair to the working class and it’s an insult to those who have fought, worked and died for the freedoms our country once praised as our pride for belonging here. We are NOT a nation of oligarch, we are much much more than that.

I’m working class as well, but just because we of low station, it doesn’t mean we must be low.

Be charitable to everyone as best you can, even if they live in a palace. It is prejudice to judge people by where they live. Prejudice is hatred and not something Christians should cultivate.

“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”

As a Catholic, I know salvation is process and we must answer for every idle word, let alone every hateful or malicious word.

I’m not a Catholic so that doesn’t apply to me . If you are going to keep posting in a Baptist forum note your Catholic ideals and beliefs have little to no relevance…personally I find them irritating.
