It’s got all the attributes I need for hard use on paper, with synthetic stock. Not taking the beretta into the ugly swamp.

3 inch chamber, 26’ barrel, interchangeable chokes etc. Don’t need sling attachments.

Single barrels generally last forever. Just wondering if anyone has used this one and can vouch for it.

The only thing I’d need for this is to change the brass bead to Fluoro green for low light, and put a butt pouch on it for the chokes and key, maybe a pull through, and she’d be ready to go.

I have a Remington version but with interchangeable barrels depending on the game. Synthetic stock and able to take abuse for 40+ years. Am no longer physically able to walk fields and lowlands; need to give it to my son. But he is the modern sportsman on a range, not after game.

It’s good to get a reliable one that can last and be handed down.

Sorry to hear it Dr. Bob, it must be heart breaking, getting fresh meat is one of those things I grew up with, and I hope someone would bring to me if I can no longer get out there.
We shoot a lot of geese and it feeds many people, and use the carcasses as mud crab bait. Mud crabs are even better nutrition.
