“The newly created White House Faith Office is grateful to share that President Trump will honor and celebrate Holy Week and Easter with the observance it deserves,” faith director of the White House Faith Office Jennifer Korn said, adding that it “will be a special time of prayer and worship at the White House to be shared with Americans celebrating the week leading up to Resurrection Sunday.”

On Palm Sunday, Trump shared a heartfelt video message wishing Jewish families in the United States and Israel a “blessed” Passover. On Monday he is expected to release a similar message honoring Holy Week—part of what insiders call a meaningful and unapologetically reverent celebration of Christianity. The week will culminate in a special Easter dinner on Wednesday, featuring hymns from the Marine Corps Band, a performance by Christian opera singer Charles Billingsley, prayers, and remarks from President Trump himself.

Thursday, Trump will host a staff worship service at the White House. The service will feature Rev. Franklin Graham, Pastor Greg Laurie, and Pastor Jentezen Franklin, who will lead a prayer, scripture, service, and communion.

The International Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated EVERY March 31 since 2009.

In 2024, Easter Sunday just happened to fall on March 31.

That's EXACTLY what entered my mind when I read it. It didn't sound like him at all.

I'll not post here again. I'll not question his salvation in this thread again.

I had to leave one forum where I was not a moderator because I tried to explain these things to the Trump Brigade there whenever they claimed his longstanding and deep salvation. I told them I prayed for him all the time and that offended them to the core.

There was one moderator who was on the verge of claiming Trump to be a virtuous and holy man beyond reproof. She made post after post after post after post after post. People upheld her claims.

I tried to put her on ignore, but she was a moderator and I was not allowed to do that. I questioned to the moderators in private and in general why I could not put her on ignore. I was not given an answer.

I had to leave for my own sanity's sake. It's a pity. There were a couple of people who needed Biblical truths there that I posted with a lot.

I can't get the Trump supporters to understand that he is not right in his mind. I gave three examples, but could give so much more.

It's not his immoral nature. It's that his supporters CAN'T AND WON'T SEE IT. I'll still pray for him.

Do you think it accidental the radicals chose March 31 to “celebrate” this apostasy? They knew when they chose the date exactly when it would fall in Easter. It was celebrated during Easter by the Biden White House. That has never happened and demonstrates the priorities of the Dems.

I’m amazed at the hostility toward DT’s statement which included references to Jesus dying for “our” sins, as well as the effort to excuse celebrating “Tran:gender:r day on any day, much less Easter.

Why not take the man at his word instead of looking for a way to dismiss a bold proclamation of Christ, during the Easter holiday, by the POTUS?

Easter is on a different Sunday every year. This year it's April 20. It can be as early as March 22 or as late as April 25. The Transgender day being March 31 every single year has nothing to do with Easter. It just happened to fall on Easter last year. And I despised it when Biden drew notice to it.

I do distrust him as that is a fault of mine. I have so much trouble trusting anyone. And his words and actions many times drive me crazy. Perhaps you could pray for me.

Yet, the truth is it was not "HOSTED by the White House" in any such way making it the first time that one was. And frankly such behavior was par for the Biden Administration's course.

No need to be snarky, brother. All I asked for was the full video or transcript as I could not find it. And you have to admit the two videos you posted are different.

The first one is chopped to present Trump as saying, "Jesus wants to be Lord of your life". The second and full one shows Trump saying that this is what Billy Graham said to the gentlemen standing beside him.

You are wrong about me. I do not want him to be unsaved. I just have a difficult time reconciling the foul and super vulgar things that come out of his mouth, his lifestyle, and his comments about his personal salvation being based on good works outweighing bad works and his being good will send him to heaven and if he is bad, he will go to the "other place". How do you reconcile all of that?
